We’ve Had lots of takeaways from the Sundorban, and every one has been excellent.
Recommend the Sheek kebab, Kati Rolls and the onion Bhajis.
Tarka Dahl is also delicious. Always lovely food.

Initially we were a bit miffed at the wait time for delivery, but given it was a Saturday night, I suppose it was to be expected.
Our order was delivered (in a very stylish bag) by a very nice and knowledgeable man, who told us that the chefs use good lamb rather than mutton (which can often be the case).
The pilau rice was delicately fragranced.
The gravies and sauces very fresh, you could taste every ingredient!
The chicken, well-marinated and moist.
Portion sizes generous, so superb value for money!!!

Tried the biryani from Sundarbon Indian Takeaway and really enjoyed it. The chicken pieces were perfectly tender, and the curry + raita on the side were spot on and complemented the biryani really well. Great taste and a satisfying meal—will definitely order again.

Returned to the Sundorbon after a cold days fishing.Visited once before & it was excellent.
This time was again superb…It was pretty much full but managed to fit 2 of us in.
The staff are friendly with a lovely welcoming manner.
Our order was brought to the table & it was again superb.Being big eaters my brother & l was delighted at the portion size & the flavours hit the spot.
Well done chef & staff at this restaurant.
It is slightly more expensive than other places we have tried but l can say that it’s worth every penny.
If you’ve not tried the Sundorbon & you’re passing through then stop off….you won’t be disappointed.
Well done again, we’ll be back.

What can I say! Placed a order was delivered on time and unfortunately they messed up 1 thing. Rang and instantly was sorted and another delivered within 20 minutes… The food is absolutely beautiful the butter chicken burger is to die for and the keema fries outstanding perfect heat and the flavour just lovely I cannot fault this place one bit! Will be ordering more often

This was the best curry (and sides) I have eaten, I usually won’t eat Indian takeaway but every dish was flavourful, fresh and tasty. The foods reasonably priced, I liked the variety of the menu and an order of 14 dishes was ready 5 minutes before their estimated collection time. 8 of us ate and were all agreement that it’s the best Indian around. My only gripe is that it’s the first Indian I’ve ever had where you don’t receive complimentary poppadoms to accompany your curry, hopefully they may consider this as a nice addition to what is already a fabulous takeaway.
Forgot to add, allergy to peppers in the party (ordering from an Indian, risky), all food labelled clearly, no cross-contamination and packaged separately.

When the Sundorbon first opened in Dorchester the food was fabulous, but the takeaway we had last night was less than mediocre. Must try harder with the original recipes and stop adding red chili to Korma and calling it Tikka Masala.
