Operating seasonally from the first Friday and Saturday in May through the first weekend in October, our family-owned restaurant has been crafting farm-to-table wood-fired pizzas for over 20 years. I Googled Best Pizza in WI and Suncrest was on both lists I checked. Headed out on my motorcycle eagerly anticipating the pizza. It is a tricky place to get to; it’s on a working farm on the WAY backroads NE of downtown Cochrane. This place, people, and the pizza was absolutely worth the 508 miles round trip I put on. True Farm to imported Italian pizza brick oven to repurposable pizza box to my stomach. Mercedes and Heather the pizzaiola and Farm owner were very kind, showing me the oven, telling me their story, and generally making sure the solo motorcyclist customer of theirs had a fantastic time. There were loads of families out with their kids. The kids played on the playground. Just a beautiful location with wonderful, caring, passionate staff. AND THE BEST PIZZA IN WI! I had the Supreme: Delicious!

This restaurant is on a quaint farm nestled in rolling hills. There are flowers, herbs and vegetables growing everywhere which creates a lush environment and the landscaping was beautifully done with plenty of shade to escape the summer heat. The atmosphere is quiet enough to enjoy a relaxed conversation, yet lively with subtle music and the hum of happy guests enjoying their food.
The animals on the farm add to the charm-especially the little pigs, who were unbelievably cute and friendly. The whole experience felt warm (aside from the summer heat) and inviting, thanks to Heather and the incredible staff. They were welcoming, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do.
And the food? Absolutely delicious. The pizza was a standout as it should be for the concept-FRESH, flavorful, clearly made with love and top-notch ingredients.
Plenty of beverage options for all ages. A nice selection of locally sourced/made items and some apparel. Also- Bath & Body Works has nothing on their soy candles (sexy farmer was my favorite scent).
I wish I would’ve gotten pictures, but I was thoroughly enjoying taking it all in!

Suncrest was definitely worth the drive! The pizza was delicious, the landscaping is beautiful & the atmosphere is amazing. I appreciated that the places for kids to play was more accessible than others we have been to. I love that they are as earth friendly as possible. The lid of pizza box can be turned into plates. There are some picnic tables available, but you should bring your own chairs/blanket. I saw that other brought tv trays, which I thought was a good idea. Their selection of beer, wine, and seltzers was good. The pizzas we got were gyro, Greek & create your own with cheese and olives. The gyro was flavorful with fresh mint that gave it a pop of freshness. I thought my Greek was a little bland, but I typically feel this way about pizzas with no red sauce or tomatoes. The cheese with olives was very good. I was impressed that the pizza was as good as the venue. My daughter loved looking at the goats, chickens & ducks. Our family can’t wait to come back and visit again. This is a gem in the hills of Cochrane.

I can’t even begin to describe how wonderful this place is, but will certainly try. First of all; it’s absolutely beautiful- everywhere you look. Secondly, the food is amazing. Fresh, delicious, and made with love. What I can’t highlight enough is the wonderful staff members who work at Suncrest. I recently had my wedding reception here- Heather and her team were easy going, hard working, and so incredibly kind. Especially the bartender! If you’re thinking of going out for pizza, or asking Suncrest to host an event, you truly can’t go wrong. THANK you to the amazing people at this beautiful establishment.

The food is incredible and the only minute thing that could’ve possibly improved is that the food could’ve been produced a little faster. However all things considered i.e. (space and staff) all of my families trips here have been superb! Great job keep doing what you do! Thank you!
