Brightly colored walls and plants welcome you upon entering this little restaurant located inside Jt Boba House Avondale. The space is on the smaller side, making it a great choice for a casual, quick meal or takeout. The menu is thoughtfully simple, with a perfect selection of authentic Thai dishes. I learned that Chef Beam, who is from Thailand, personally prepares each dish, and the beautifully garnished orders I saw coming from the kitchen reflected the care Chef Beam puts into his meals. Only needing a small bite to tide me over, I ordered the Isan sausage, which I’ve never tried before. The delightful bite-sized sausages are made from ground pork, sticky rice, garlic and glass noodles and were incredibly flavorful. The generous garnish almost doubled as a small salad making the protion more than ample to share. Interesting, satisfying and so very tasty. I’m already looking forward to coming back to order the Pad-See- Ew and mango with sticky rice. Well done Sunbeam Thai!!

The spring rolls were really good. But the service wasn’t the best. The guy who took our order had horrible customer service. I believe his name started with a D, and he was here around 3:30pm. He didn’t really know anything about their menu as well as his demeanor appeared to be annoyed/irritable while me and another gues were trying to decide what we wanted to order. Nicole though was very kind, and pleasant to speak with.

Sunbeam Thai has really great Thai food and drinks, one of the best in Avondale. It is located inside of JT Boba House. I would highly recommend checking them out.

One of the best boba places I’ve been to. I’ve tasted quite a few flavors and everything is always great. My daughter is very picky and she loves all the flavors she’s tried. She adores the boba bar.
