This is our go to for Chinese food in the area. Normally very good and consistent. Ordered egg foo young and egg drop soup this time. Egg drop did not have much flavor and egg foo young was saturated with oil to a point it was dripping. Other items ordered were great.

Not sure what it is but something has changed with this restaurant. I was always very satisfied with their food. But lately the food does not taste the same. I ordered beef lomain with some chicken wings and some spare ribs. It was terrible. The noodles were stuck together almost pasty. The beef in it and the chicken wings and spare ribs had a very odd, very not so good flavor to it. I basically wasted 60.00 because I chunked it all in the garbage. I do not plan on eating here again. Very very disappointed.

they have plenty of vegan and vegetarian dishes, so delicious. We especially loved the bean curd tofu as an appetizer They were massive pieces and enough for everyone. The general Tao tofu, fried rice with no egg plus tofu was great! And the eggplant and side of the garlicky bok choy was perfect.

Was in Columbia SC area & my Thai wife wanted Chinese for lunch, so here we are. I asked my brother who lives here where to go for good Chinese & he recommended Sun Ming.
We both enjoyed the egg rolls ,pirk ribs appetizers then chomped down on Singapore rice noodles, Twice cook pork with the cabbage, & filet beef with black pepper sauce. I’ll be back for the egg rolls, Singapore noodles & Twice cooked pork.

Most authentic Chinese restaurant in Columbia, SC!

Servers are efficient and the food comes out fast and hot. The portions are generous (you won’t leave hungry). Pricing is extremely affordable and fair. Order the authentic Chinese dishes, and you won’t regret it. Plenty of flavor, variety, and authenticity. I seriously love this restaurant and it’s always a pleasure to dine here. Come check it out yourself, it’s well worth it!

Just tried Sub Ming Chinese and it absolutely delivered! Flavours were rich, portions generous, and everything tasted freshly made. The dumplings and stir fry were top tier. Highly recommended must try if you’re craving real Chinese comfort food!

Amazing atmosphere, just big enough to fit a good amount of people without it being overwhelming. My server was attentive, my cup never running empty. Good Georgia sweet sweet tea. The sesame chicken was TO DIE for! The chicken wings were juicy and fall off the bone. If you’re looking for your typical Americanized Chinese food, this is not the place. Everything was so fresh and tasted amazing. By far my favorite place to eat!

U heard Great things about this restaurant. So i defineltey wanted to give them a try. I ordered the bourbon chicken with chicken fried rice and 6 wings. The bourbon chicken was good. The food was hot and full of flavor. I’ll rate it a 7 out of 10. The wings were dry and were not satisfactory. I requested for them to be cooked soft because i don’t like crispy wings, however they were crispy. I would give them a 4 out of 10. The highlight was definelty the chicken fried rice. It was really good. Very fresh and full of flavor. It was cooked to order still hot upon 25 min pick up. The onions and everything added to this delectable stir fry. I would give the rice a 10 out of 10. I also didn’t like that the white sauce was 3$ just for one cup of sauce. I would think with the order of bourbon chicken, it would be at least one courtesy however, the sauce was not included. Also, the price I paid over $30 for these small items. I don’t think it was worth the price. Overall, this is why my overall experience was three stars I would definitely try them again to see if there is other things I would like on the menu or maybe on this particular night the food wasn’t superb. I will try again and look forward to updating my rating.

Absolutely disgusting fried rice I got as a take out this afternoon. Barely any chicken, rice was crunchy and had a wierd taste. I asked her if I could get some chilli paste and she had the most annoyed look on her face, gave me a packet of hot sauce that has been probbaly laying there for years. I told her no thanks ! Not returning to this disgusting place !
