Great food and service, and a beautiful atmosphere! All food super fresh, well-presented, and fairly priced. The staff was attentive and genuinely friendly, which made the entire experience more enjoyable.

Had high hopes of this place being good. One of the few Chinese restaurants that still have dine in And a decent atmosphere. Sadly, being charged almost $16 for a general chicken combo was insulting.nJust a gloopy mess of batter and chicken thigh. A couple of sad broccoli and fried rice that could have very well been out of a container. Like I said; high hopes that were not met. As an aside, the people seem very nice.

There was nothing good about the food dispite spending $140. The chicken wings were soggy and the smallest wings I’ve ever seen. The sauce was supposed to be spicy garlic. No flavor. The shrimp toast was dripping with oil. Kung Pao shrimp contains small heavily breaded shrimp. Chow Fun beef features over cooked rice noodles with too much sauce and no flavor. Fried rice was soggy and bland. I’ll stop here. I want expecting much, but I got the worst Chinese food ever.

A lot of people in my local eatery group on Facebook suggested this restaurant for old school Chinese food. I personally think everything was just okay. We got Sun Lok steak as main dish and wished it had more spice to it as it had the pepper symbol on the menu, we expected it was spicy. Scallion pancakes are very greasy, beef on the stick was pretty good. Cold noodles with sesame sauce didn’t taste any sesame in there, just feel like they put a lot of Hoisin sauce in it. Free oranges and fortune cookies after the end.

I HATE to leave a negative review but have to in this case. Blandest Chinese food we’ve ever eaten. Ordered a very large takeout order based on the positive reviews but it was simply bad. No seasoning, very disappointing. It really makes you wonder about the palates of these so called local guides. For point of reference, I grew up in Bklyn and NYC which has fantastic Chinese food everywhere.

Place must be under new ownership. Picked up a take-out order of, among other things, Hot and Sour soup that was neither hot nor sour, but bland and literally looked like a watered down version of my Moo Shu, with little to no shiitake mushrooms and obligatory vinegar. I called about the burnt crab dumplings and they kindly offered me a free order of the dumplings (to include 2 free spring rolls) next time I came in. When I went back for the offer, some nasty older lady came out and claimed that shrimp dumplings are typically “burnt” and shoved them in a bag. Got home and they were dripping with grease. Maybe they need to change the oil in their fryer. Spring rolls were ok and appreciated.
However, service and food quality is not was it used to be.

Had the dinner combination with the egg roll pork fried rice and sweet and sour chicken. The chicken was moist and tender and the coating made it like the perfect chicken nugget. I got the sweet and sour sauce on the side. The food is fresh and very tasty the lady that runs the register is a dream.

This was my first visit to Sun Lok Garden. It was a very cozy, inviting and clean restaurant. We were served hot tea and chips and sweet & sour sauce immediately upon being seated. Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive to our needs. We ordered the shrimp chow mein platter and hawiian seafood dish. Both meals were generous portions and so tasty! Prices were reasonable. I recommend Sun Lok Garden for really good Chinese food.

I feel awful for my review. Great atmosphere. Friendly and attentive staff. Food was delicious BUT they only have 2 bathrooms and no stalls. It went right through us all. I’m so sorry to say it. It was almost a catastrophe!!! Rip the laundromat bathroom too!

This is a nice sit-down Chinese restaurant. The staff is very friendly and the food was very good. I ordered the general Cho’s chicken and my wife had the fried duck.
The restaurant is clean and very well decorated with a nice ambience. There were cloth table covers on the tables.
I would recommend this place if you’re looking for a nice sit-down Chinese restaurant.
