First time eating from this place (we ordered delivery) it was absolutely amazing and fresh. The flavors are spot on and everything was cooked to perfection. All the veggies in the dishes even had a beautiful crunch to them. Will definitely eat from here again!!

Nice family-run restaurant with wonderful food and reasonable prices! We had pork dumplings, ginger beef, prawns with mixed vegetables, and soy sauce chow mein with bbq pork.
The dumplings were fresh and juicy, and the noodles loaded with flavour. The mixed vegetables were super delicious and the prawns were so tender!! The ginger beef was ultra crispy and so tasty, although it was sweeter than I would have preferred.
Overall, Sun Island Eatery is a fantastic restaurant and we’ll definitely be back!

Wow! We just had our first dinner at this wonderful find! We will certainly go back! Everything was perfect including Flora who helped us! Give this restaurant a try! You will not be disappointed. All thumbs up!

Ordered the seafood and meat with mixed vegetable fried noodles. Food came out quickly, hot, and delicious. I’ve been here before after it was recommended to me, and it’s been consistent. I wanted to order the ginger beef, but that’s too much food for one person – next time! The wait person was friendly. Prices are reasonable and large portions.

Food was amazing, I loved the sweet and sour chicken and the water crests in the veggie mix. They brought out the food really quick and the employees were really nice, it was 48 bucks for 4 people and everyone felt really full.

The best Chinese food I have had in Calgary. The black pepper hot plate is delicious, large portions, and you can tell it has all been made from scratch. Highly recommend. Very good service also.

Delicious food! Everything tasted amazing(especially the Black Pepper Chicken), and the service was wonderful, too! They even opened the restaurant early for us, which was so nice of them because we were famished! Also, special shoutout to their homemade chilly garlic sauce – absolutely yummm!
