Tried the duck for the first time and it was amazing!! Food is very affordable as well. Our waitress was extremely nice and helped us order for our first time trying this place out. Definitely coming back!!

Went to try a new place today and stopped in at Sun Hong B B Q & Seafood Restaurant on wyandotte street west, let me just say it did not disappoint. From the service to the food and just the atmosphere alone was so welcoming. I HIGHLY recommend this place!!!!everything came out fast and our waitress was super attentive to us and made sure to double check everything so that our order was correct! We will definitely be going back (we got the roasted meat combination, the szechuan chicken, spicy popcorn prom and the two meat over rice)

Proper Chinese food in Windsor!
Decided to give this place a shot and wasn’t disappointed.. service was quick but there was a bit of wait for the food as the restaurant was quite busy. The food was delicious! Chicken wings are awesome… the roast pork was actually very yummy, and the General Tao chicken was absolutely fantastic! Highly recommended and would definitely return next time we’re in town!

The lady with short hair and glasses showed bad attitude and through straight away the bill on my table after i paid and tip 5%. She said the 5% tip is not ok that means we deserve that kind of attitude?

Went there yesterday. We ordered duck, noodles, and dumplings. It was delicious. The foods came quickly, except for the dumpling. But the server did tell us before ordering that dumplings make take some time. Their steamed pork dumplings are definitely worth the wait. It’s really good. The server is friendly, too.

Not recommended!! Especially for takeout or delivery pickup. This is the worst staff attitude I’ve experienced in Windsor.
I came in to pick up my SKIP order and was completely ignored while standing at the entrance and there is no clear sign indicating where the pickup area is.
I noticed a table with takeout food and went closer to check if one of the orders was mine. Instead of being guided politely, I was rudely yelled at by a staff member, as if I were trying to steal food. No explanation, no courtesy, just straight-up hostility.
I was then shouted at to go to the other side of the restaurant, which looked half-closed with lights turned off and didn’t even seem open to customers.
The staff handling pickup there was just as rude and impatient. She snapped, “What did you order?” in an aggressive tone. When I started checking my SKIP app and reading it out, she cut me off and demanded the order number instead — again, rudely.
Food-wise, it was just okay at best. BBQ were okay. The steamed pork dumplings were honestly worse than frozen ones you can get from T&T, but that’s not even the main issue here. The real problem is the staff attitude. Being treated like a thief for trying to pick up a paid order is unacceptable.
If you value basic respect as a customer, do not order takeout from this place 🙂

The food was good. I tried the roasted duck on rice with a couple of bok choy leaves and three steamed pork buns. It was served fresh and hot.
However, the server who served me was really rude. When I asked about a certain plate about what does it come with, she scolded me by saying, “You should know what you want!” When I asked her for something she told me, “wait a moment!” She was really condescending.
I also didn’t like when I was paying for my meal they put on the machine the tip options already prearranged like you have to pay 12% and upwards for a tip even though the service was lousy and abysmal.
If it were not for that server and having to experience her condescending attitude I would have given a great overall rating of 5 stars.
This is a type of restaurant you should go every once in a year, if not, never at all until they change lousy servers like that lady – yes, the Asian lady with short, dark hair with glasses, that lady mentioned from previous reviews about this place, she is terrible.

Our first choice happened to be closed on a Sunday night so we went here – and I’m so glad we did! The food here is probably the most authentic Chinese food we’ve ever had. We are from Indiana and drive over the border just for dinner. It was phenomenal!!
The BBQ pork was amazing; both soups were excellent and the rice had an amazing chicken flavor. Unfortunately, I’m going to think all Chinese food back home is bland and no where near this good.
The service was also very good. You know it’s great when there’s a line in their market (where you can get fresh takeout).

Reasonable price, portion is more than enough and there’s even leftovers to bring home. Highly recommend this fantastic place for dining in, take out/delivery for any occasion. You go! This unassuming little restaurant boasts a delectable menu and incredible, unmatched customer service! If you’re around Windsor, do yourself a favour and try this place for dinner. It was some of the best Chinese food I have had in a long time. We particularly loved the chicken corn soup and the kung pao shrimp. The staff was attentive and truly went above and beyond the entire time we were there. Prices were very reasonable too!!
