Ive been going to this place for years! Even though i just moved I usually get the pork fried rice and chicken wings. Sometimes fried dumplings or chicken teriyaki sticks. These people kill it! Absolutely delicious! Every single time! My father who just passed and my mom also loved this place. The people working there.. the women and men in the back are awesome human beings!! They keep the place really clean, best place in bristol by far! Give them a try you won’t be disappointed

Ordered the Szechuan chicken extra spicy. No flavor and absolutely no spice. Just pounded out chicken with a very light clear sauce over top. Did not taste good. Lady behind the counter was also very rude

Ask anyone in Bristol whether in person or on various social media pages, they’ll say Sun Fat Chinese is one of the best in the area. By the looks of it, at any given day..it’s always busy, so it’s by far the most popular Chinese restaurant in the area…I won’t say the best.
Quick Note – Pretty much all the Chinese restaurants in this area all charge the same and the meals are the same..look at the menu, select food, pay and wait for it. The ones up here also give you a choice of egg roll or soup to go with your lunch order..that’s not just here, but ALL of the restaurants here in the Bristol/Plainville area.
Food – I’ve been here on a couple of times and have tried various items from the pepper steak to the chicken and broccoli to the sesame chicken. It’s all your standard Chinese food restaurant..I don’t see where it is that far ahead of all the rest. Sesame Chicken was good…but not fantastic. You get a heaping portion of it but a ton of rice as well. The egg roll is sometimes soft, other times hard enough to go through a brick wall.
Parking – It’s in the strip mall next to Subway in the MarketEdge/Price Chopper on Farmington Ave/Route 6/72.
I’m giving it 4* total for a couple reasons…first being, no..I didn’t do a phone order..I never do on anything, it’s always as a walk-in. Got there at 2:55, went to order the lunch and was told “it ends at 3.”…I know, it’s not 3pm yet..I’m not one to argue so I said it is whatever and just give me the regular portion then…so because of that and the egg roll being rock hard, I’d give it on a 1-5…3.8-4.1

I have ordered several times 18 piece shrimp to notice each time I am short 1 or 2 They can do that 18 times it’s a free 18 piece shrimp they dont have to restock sounds silly but it’s money do the math not allowing any resteraunt to short me food when I can’t short them a nickle I want what I paid for tried to say the menu is ten Yeats old as if thats my fault you know what your doing to save a buck and try to argue with me on the phone I told them it’s not the first time no mistake here purposely Watching that I know my order WILL NOT GIVE THEM ANY MORE MONEY IF THEY WANT TO CHEAT PEOPLE FORGET IT THERES BETTER UP THE STREET IN FARMINGTON

For quite a few years before we moved my wife and I went here to get food or lunch specials. Not sure if things have changed in recent years but not only were the staff incredibly hostile towards my wife but the food was absolutely terrible. The chicken was gray and was completely off texture, my wife’s food was particularly good as she got chicken and broccoli however it seems I was the odd one out. Will be looking for local places to go from now on.

This is our second time ordering and we got three orders of the fried chicken nuggets, I’m pregnant and this is my newest craving, the chicken nuggets are fried perfectly and they’re moist and the chicken inside is so good, my husband and our son love them!! Best chicken nuggets we’ve had so far!!

Food is nasty. Very low quality, no flavor and plain gross. Asian bistro is much better, and save your money and go to the new hibachi buffet next plaza over. 10x better than this crap. Eww gross.

Horrible experience this is the second time that I have ordered from this place got home did not have the food I was supposed to have in my bag and paid for the food. When my husband just called about the food being missing they told us that we always have a problem with us and never to order from them again mind you we have ordered their several times and give them a lot of business. That food last night was food for myself and my husband after I had a major surgery. I recommend not to order from this place ever again they are rude and disrespectful. If I could I would put a zero star for them

Tried this place for the first time and boy was I not disappointed. The food is high quality and cooked to perfection. The best Chinese in Bristol by far. Pretty close to moon star in Torrington. The crab Rangoons are the best around this area. Crispy triangles of deliciousness. Highly recommended.
