The food is fresh, flavorful, and authentic just like homemade cooking. The owners are so friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. I especially recommend Chicken feet with Mango I love the sauce abit spicy and sour if you really like sour taste, this is the place for you. Another great dish that I recommend is Bún bò Huế spicy beef broth full of savory and fresh herbs. Definitely one of the best Vietnamese spots around I’ll be coming back for sure !!!!! Must try
The food stall is family owned and operated. I talked to the family members and they constantly made sure I had water, sauces, and everything I would need. Not only that, but they were so friendly and appreciative of me giving their business a try!
They said they started their small scale catering business on Facebook Marketplace during Covid. They needed to pivot during lockdown. And how they wanted to stand out in the sea of Vietnamese restaurants with quality and late night hours.
Mad respect for the tenacity and business plan. It worked. The dishes were amazing and you can tell it was made with love. A lot of items were homemade, including all the fish cakes I had in my noodle soup. I’ll be back at 10pm to eat crab soup. Made with real crab meat!
They were fast , kind and prices were reasonable. Maybe just wasn’t for me
Inside the pop up district which has other bakeries and restaurants
The Bun Thit Nuong came with homemade peanut sauce and fish sauce on the side and allowed me to control how much was mixed into the dish (I added everything after a couple bites because the sauces enhanced the flavor!). The pork was smoky and seasoned very well.
The Bun Bo Hue came with a good portion of meat and vegetables. The broth was brimming with flavor from all of the ingredients and spices. It did have a little bit of a kick, but it was perfect on a cold day.
