This was my first order from here and it was to-go so I can’t speak on the dining-in experience. My Crunchy Roll was fresh and was really good! I also ordered a small steak bowl and a side of veggies, which were the perfect portion size for me. I plan to return to try other items on the menu.

This is a great new addition to the Irmo area! I ordered the hibachi steak express plate and pork dumplings. Both were amazing! It only took about 5-10 minutes to get my food. The dumplings were hot and fresh and the steak was cooked well. I’ll have to try the sushi next time! Great to eat in or order for pickup/delivery.

This is a great addition to the strip. The food was delicious! Had the steak and shrimp, both cooked perfectly. Much better than the existing Hatachi places nearby. Beware of ordering through DoorDash, they increase the price 30-40%. Order via phone.

Stumbled across Sumo while visiting Columbia SC. Great place for quick habachi & sushi. Food was delicious staff amazing restaurant & bathrooms very clean. Will definitely return to Sumo next time I’m in the Columbia IRMO area.
