The staff was very friendly and greeted me right away when I got there. I came alone and sat at a booth. The menu was explained clearly. At first, I was a little overwhelmed with the way it is structured, but quickly made sense of it with the help of the server. There’s basically three different tiers for both lunch and dinner. The items are color-coded so you know which ones are included. I was there for lunch and I wanted sushi. If you want just the buffet it’s $12.95 all you can eat, but I wanted sushi so I had to go with the silver tier which was $17.95. Seems a little steep but honestly it’s a great deal because it’s all you can eat and it’s nice because if you want sushi you just order with the server or from the QR code at the table. Ordering is really simple from your phone. No need to download an app or anything like that. I’m gluten-free dairy free so there wasn’t much really in the buffet that I could eat. My only complaint is that allergens aren’t really labeled whether they contain gluten or wheat or nuts, dairy, etc. They do have gluten-free soy sauce, though. You just have to request it. As far as the only buffet in town goes, it’s kind of nice, especially if you have hungry kids and you want to get your food quickly. You are limited to a 90 minute meal, which is plenty of time. The buffet also has things like ice cream sandwiches and putting in a whole bunch of other fun desserts.
The nice thing is miso soup and edamame are both part of the buffet so you can just help yourself. I ordered a salmon avocado roll and a tuna roll. They were really good so I ordered a second round. I was so full when I left.
The kimchi is also really good from the buffet. It tastes very fresh.

Idk what some of these reviews are crying about. This is absolutely delicious and cheap. It’s all you can eat and yall expect the highest quality. Go here! You order on your phone and a robot brings it and it’s infinite!! The workers were all so sweet and professional. Also it’s written all over that there’s an automatic 12% tip on your check and they bring it up 3 times so idk why some reviews sound shocked lol. They even say you don’t need to tip because the 12% comes out. Don’t let these reviews stop you from trying it.

This place is great! Great food and so fresh and tasty! The service was great and the robots were very cool. All you can eat and great simple ordering from your phone. Loads of selection at the buffet and the sushi rolls. Great appetizers and desserts all included in one simple price! The staff were all super friendly and did a great job!

So happy this restaurant went in. Went with my husband who LOVES sushi (Like nigiri not just California rolls haha) and he was excited hed be able to order that type of stuff for him and the kids and I could order and hit the buffet for non sushi and basic rolls. The atmosphere is beautiful they did a great job making over the restaurant. The server and hosts we so friendly and checked on us regularly and the kids LOVED the delivery robot. They liked the beef and noodles and baked potatoes and cheesy corn and rice obviously. Plenty of basics for kiddos. I enjoyed the takoyaki, coconut shrimp, shumai, and lots of items from the buffet. My husband went to town on the nigiri and to made to order rolls. My only critique- the desserts we pretty but VERY bland. We went with the ice cream after trying bites of the others. The corn on the stick was VERY hot which I was not expecting just warning for that haha. And lastly, the teas were amazing and they had bobas and lychee for them byt only these tiny cups, might have just been out of normal ones? That was really it. Everything else it was great we really enjoyed our selves and my husband will definitely be a regular with his sushi loving buddies.
***Families: If you have picky eater kids, this may not be worth it as everyone has to eat at the same price level. So if you are going there as an adult who intends to get down on the premium made to order items you’ll be wasting money with kids there. Just a heads up. Hope this was helpful!!
We will definitely be back, so happy we gave it a shot!

Checked out Sumo Sushi with a group of friends – delicious food! I probably ate way too much but it was fine trying so many different menu items. Having the buffet is nice because the ordered food came out really sporadically (1 dish here and there and then suddenly multiple). There were a few times that we wouldn’t get anything we ordered for a while and we would think we already ate through the dishes so we would order again and then get way too much food.
It would be great if the ordering system had a way to track what dishes were ordered and what had been delivered so far. Would help limit food waste as well.

Went to sumo sushi on my birthday and was very impressed. The ordering system was very nice and convenient once It was explained by the server he was also very awesome and authentic. The free buffet is a nice touch because the food does come out sporadically like one plate and then 5 minutes later you get 4 plates. The server robot was very cool loved it. All the food was good and looked better than the photos on the ordering system presentation was off the charts. So many different options. The Grape jasmine soda was very good I definitely recommend the sodas. The whole bill came out to about 140 for 4 Adults price and is definitely very reasonable because od how good the food was and the buffet. I find it very cool that the buffet has drinks as well the Thai tea was good. All in all a very good experience the place was beautiful inside.

A surprisingly great new restaurant in Kelso. All you can eat sushi at two price points or a buffet for $16 that has a great selection (the Sushi options include the buffet).
The fact that everything is ordered on your phone and delivered by these cute robots is just a geeky bonus.
It’s literally a minute off of I-5, so a great place to stop if you’re travelling the corridor.
Easy recommend.

Awesome new Japanese buffet/restaurant! For one, the buffet itself has tons of great food. IDK what the 1-star reviews are all about, because everything I had was super flavorful and top-notch quality. I mean, it’s all-you-can-eat so I think the sheer quality is worth the price for sure!
Then there’s the menu of things to order from the app, which the robot servers will bring straight to your table throughout your visit. Again, awesome variety and excellent quality.
All around excellent place from my experience!

This is the best sushi for miles around here. The robots make it fun. The restaurant feels very fancy inside.
The buffet is very good, make sure you leave lots of room to eat a lot!

This is definitely the best sushi AYCE in town like fr, the exterior and interior designs are super beautiful and authentic Asian looking, but here’s the thing. The automatic 12% service fees should be in the system, because tipping is an options and it should be base only on good servicing, nobody wanted to tip after seeing that automatic 12%. But the foods and everything is top notch! Definitely coming back!
