The Sushi and food at this place is amazing. You can either order all you can eat or from the regular menu. If you are doing all you can eat everyone at the table has to do all you can eat. You also must eat most of what you get otherwise if there is waste they charge the items a la carte.
The service was pretty good and the waitress was nice.
The atmosphere was okay. Not like most other sushi places I have been too.
All and all this place is worth a try especially for the sushi it had great taste and was quite fresh.

I have ordered here before and it’s always good. First, I will say I ordered at 8:26 PM and they close at 9 PM. But this was my order tonight. Shrimp and steak were way over, cooked rice was mush, salad was entire iceberg leaves. I will give it another shot, can’t judge on one time.

Absolute joke! Ordered takeout from DoorDash and she told me that I needed to call them. The sushi was crap, and she was not willing to exchange it for something of equal or lesser value, which I wasn’t even interested in because of the quality of food was crap. I will continuously bash this company for their lack of quality of food.

Volcano roll lacked flavor and not well built.
Spring rolls are soft and mushy. I would expect them to be crispy.
The hibachi was a solid 3 stars.
For the price not worth it.
The inside ambiance is date nice.
The service is friendly.

The waiter was kind and professional; however, our experience with the chef was very disappointing. He was rude and uncommunicative. The food was extremely under-seasoned, and several dishes were both burnt and undercooked at the same time. After eating, everyone in our group became sick. It also took approximately 25–30 minutes for the chef to come out, and we observed him sneezing near the food and wiping his nose, which was very concerning from a sanitation standpoint.

I had a great experience here for dinner. I ordered several different types of rolls and they were all delicious. The ingredients were fresh and the presentation was excellent. The atmosphere was quiet and cozy. The service was prompt and pleasant. This is the best sushi I have had in Melbourne so far and I will be coming back soon and often.

I would give 5 negative stars if I could! I ordered online through their site. It took 45min for 1 sushi roll and 1 sunomomo. The excuse was “we very busy”. There were (2) two tops dining in, a door dash driver waiting on a small pickup (his order was 20min past due time) and one lady walking out with to go. To top it off, the photo of what the item is online is not what the actual item is. I ordered the spicy salmon and ita chopped salmon inside the roll. I called and they said that’s how it’s made and online doesn’t have a photo. They are incorrect and have no idea what their website is even showing. The sunomono was completely flavorless. There are plenty of places to spend your money with better service and good food in this area.

I ordered from DoorDash and the second I opened the bag 6 roaches were crawling everywhere. They need to be shutdown to clean up and get an exterminator. I am so grossed out and we had to throw away our dinner. Highly suggest you do not eat here.

Cozy little Japanese restaurant. Great for a date night, business or family dinning.
I’ve had several of the sushi rolls here and each one has tasted fresh and delicious, my favorite the Godzilla

Should have been 5 stars, but ended up a really bad experience. Ordered Edamame appetizer, Combo Sashimi, Udon Soup, and Chicken Katsu with green tea and a Shirley Temple: bill came to $62. Not bad…probably average for this kind of meal. When they fired up the Hibachi to do the live cooking for other guests at the front of the restaurant, the smoke was burning my eyes even though I was sitting at a table against the far wall. I think they need better ventilation! When our meal came we could tell the chef took pride in the presentation…very colorful and artistically plated. The soup was outstanding with thick chewy noodles and great flavor with a hint of sesame. The chicken Katsu was also very good, flaky and tender. The sashimi was also great, except it came with imitation crab meat. This was especially disappointing since we asked our server before ordering and she said it was “only fish.” Other than a possible language barrier problem, our server was very attentive and thoughtful.
That is, until she disappeared. At first she was there every 5 minutes, asking if we needed refills and checking on us constantly. Then towards the end of the meal, she was gone without warning. The only other server seemed to be going out of her way to avoid us, sitting there with our hands folded for nearly 20 minutes as she walked past us 7 or 8 times. At first I thought she was tending to the Hibachi guests. Then the last time she walked by, I turned around to see her re-arranging the menus at the cash register! I had to get up out of my seat and walk up to her in order to get her attention. I felt this was very rude behavior. And that’s unfortunate because otherwise the food was quite good. But that experience was bad enough that I may not go back.
