My wife heard that this place has great burgers. A donut shop with great burgers? I took our in-house burger expert (our teenaged son) to try them out. A huge double smash burger with crispy edges and onions grilled directly into the meat, creamy and melty cheese, a fresh bun, crisp lettuce and a ripe tomato – we both agreed that it was perfect. They also cooked the tater tots until they were a crunchy golden brown. Don’t miss out of this.
The donuts were also good. Yeast risen but not doughy and with plenty of flavors to choose from. We’ll be back to try the breakfast bowls and sandwiches.

Sumo Doughnuts completely exceeded every expectation. Don’t let the outside fool you. For a “hole in the wall” it packs a punch of flavors in everything. From the moment you walk in, you can tell this place takes pride in what they do.
The donuts were absolutely incredible—fresh, soft, and perfectly fluffy with just the right amount of sweetness. The variety and creativity in the toppings really set them apart. Each one looked amazing and tasted even better. You can tell everything is made fresh and with attention to detail, not mass-produced like most places.
What really surprised me was how good the savory food was too. The burger was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, with melted cheese and fresh toppings on a soft toasted bun. It tasted like something from a dedicated burger spot, not just a donut shop. It’s rare to find a place that does both sweet and savory this well, and they nailed both.
Everything was fresh, high quality, and worth every penny. The presentation was great, the flavors were spot on, and the overall experience was outstanding. It’s clear why they have such high ratings and loyal customers.

Everything here is DELICIOUS. Today was my first visit & the breakfast sandwich was fantastic (must get the house sauce on it!). The donuts are also amazing, 10x better than anything Dunkin or Krispy Kreme could give you. Make this your new breakfast spot; you won’t regret it!!

The doughnuts here are great! They remind me a bit of Dunkin’ Donuts with more specialty options. I also ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese on a croissant that was fantastic. I will definitely be ordering here again.

Probably the best donuts I have ever had in 25 years. They literally taste like Krispy Kreme but thicker. I also tried the croissant sandwich, and it was the best thing I’ve ever had. Definitely worth five stars.

Saw a post on Facebook about this donut shop and decided to check them out. It’s a super cute shop with excellent customer service. The apple fritter is the best I’ve had in the Charlotte region. It did not miss – 10 out of 10. Great texture, nice cinnamon flavor and moist apples. Don’t leave without getting a fritter! The donuts were equally as good and super fresh. Loved the raspberry jelly donut. It was not too sweet and had a good fill. Definitely will be back and I recommend you to check them out.
