The Miso Katsu w/ Vegan Dog was soooo delicious. Glad I chose this spot out of so many options in Anaheim Packing House. Service was friendly and fast. The ambiance in the Packing House District is worth experiencing even if you’re driving from far away like we did about 1 hr drive from Riverside. 100% would order from here again.

Though I found the miso sauce a tad salty, I can fully forgive Sumo Dog that one failing; I would absolutely go again, and highly recommend trying it out if quirky menu selection if your forte.
The staff was personable, knowledgeable about the offerings, and suggested substitutions to meet my dietary needs. Fantastic. No notes.
I spent about 15 bucks on an upscaled combo, and considered it a decent pricepoint for the meal. My dog was loaded with stuff, enjoyable both texturally and flavor-wise, and left me quite satiated. I particularly enjoyed the sushi rice tots, which provided unique variety compared to the standard sides found elsewhere.

Great customer service from Robert, I was just checking the menu and he asked me if I had any questions about the menu. He answered all my questions. I seen the food area and everything was super clean. The recommendation he gave me was delicious. My family loved everything we ordered. I would definitely recommend this place!!!! My partner paid nearly $20 for what ended up being a normal, small-sized hot dog essentially. Did he like it? I think the taste was fine, but he said the overall experience was greatly soured by the price. With so many better options (with more food included) at the same cost, I think it’s going to be a challenge to prove to people that this is “worth it”.

We went to Sumo Dog in La Quinta for the first time and hit it just right. Mondays are buy one hot dog get another for $1 day. All 4 dogs were amazing. Especially the bacon bahn mi dog. Perfect Vietnamese twist on American dog. The Godzilla was a foot long! To die for. Even have gluten free bun option. GF hamburger buns are next.
Restaurant was bright, festive and clean. Or you could sit on their outdoor patio. We also had the best service ever. Kat was so happy, friendly and efficient. The tshirts were sold out or would have bought one of those. We’ll be back. Tell your friends. Seattle area needs a Sumo Dog.
