All in all was it good??…It was ok for what you pay for. Was it the best sushi I ever ate… absolutely not but you shouldn’t go to an AYCE sushi restaurant thinking that either.
Service was FAST! Everyone checks in on you, makes sure you have an order in, fill up drinks, etc. very attentive and fast. (Don’t even get me started about Kan sushi where you wait hours for your waiter).
Owner is super cool and checked in with me a few times making sure all was good. Overall, I highly recommend the all you can eat experience. Amazing quality fish for a great price. Also service is top notch so you will be taken care of.
Can’t wait to come back soon!!!!!!!
No more lunch price. Only $36.95 a person. Many items were not available. Also some items you can only order one time for the entire thing. The sushi burrito, fried special, and some items were out. Mind you they opened at 4pm we came at 4:15 put our name on the wait list and were seated at 6pm.
The beverages are not included and they don’t tell you that on the menu. Open kitchen so your clothes will smell after.
They often missed our orders which is fine with me since they are very new and still adjusting to the traffic.
The KFC fried chicken is not that good so please skip. Miso soup missing tofu and seaweed. Recommend the Garlic Salmon Nigiri, Garlic Bread, Chanel roll, Lobster Roll.
With many options were unavailable I just don’t think it was worth it for the price we paid for not including over an hour waiting time. They should have discounted their customers for this inconvenience.
Will I come back? Possibly to give a second try but not in a short time soon.
Service was alright. I’m not going to talk about the food or the price per se but eventually comes time to pay. I see the receipt they bring out, mind you me and my buddy chose the premium option.
They bring me a receipt with a 18% gratuity already added. (Receipt on the left) No area to change or adjust it. I don’t believe anywhere it said an automatic 18% would be added for only a party of 2. On top of that they brung out an extra receipt asking for me to tip more. (That’s the receipt on the right)
If I did not pay attention to the receipt and let’s say I added on 10% not seeing that 18% was already, It would be a 28% tip. I was definitely not planning on tipping that much for bringing me the food and taking my order.
This is no jab at the food industry at all. I believe tip should be based off of quality and quantity of the service. I don’t know if they do this to trick you into tipping more, but this is unacceptable.
I will not be coming back, that’s for sure. Oh and on a separate note they are still modifying their menu, I don’t know how often. I understand this place is new and still adjusting to Hawaii.
I came in thinking I could order the sweet shrimp as much as I wanted because the online menu displayed that. When we got it , the menu said 1 per person. But that’s completely a minor issue compared to the tipping one.
So goood! Huge variety of rolls and nigiri!
Great service and dessert!
Will come again!
Go premium for sure!!!
