Nice place for a quick bite, they do have a pretty good barbecue sandwich. However the seating is pretty limited. So you need to get there early or have a late lunch. Because it is so small it’s not really a place to relax after lunch I’d recommend their other lodge. However they do have a little bar on the side where you could order beer, drinks etc.

Sitting at the top of the mountain, this is a convenient lodge to stop at. You can then hit any of the runs except Lookout starting from here.
Decent size restrooms.
The venue has shrunk this year (24-25 season) due to the “temporary” additional covered seating area collapsing under snow last season.
Even midweek seating indoors was tight.
We just got some drinks from the bar. The food at Zephyr lodge seemed more appealing.

The food selection here is not very good and it’s super expensive. I prefer zephyr lodge over this one. If you bring your lunch it’s a good place to stop. Tried the tri tip and it was like $20 and the meat was super tough. The sides were good though. Big portion so we split it between two people.

Good place for a quick bite and a drink. It’s a ski resort so prices are good and steep

Nothing like a hearty bowl of chilli after skiing…BBQ platter is best deal for resort prices… You get a lot of BBQ and waffle fries on the side for about 25 bux… Enough for 2 to 3 people…

Seriously Vail… $20 for a stale bun with cold pulled pork…

Overall it’s a bit too small for crowd size in Northstar. One has to wait for about 20min to find a table. Food quality is okish but not that pricy considering it’s a resort in the bay area

When I asked if the sandwich ($24) came with fries the cashier said it had tater tots, so I ordered it, only come home to find out a $30 bill – only explanation is the tater tot is extra. Insincere service and a price trap, doom yourself Epic

They will sell you food but offer no place to sit and even chase you away from your table (while you’re still eating) if they feel like folding them.
