Great local favorite close to the PA Turnpike exit. Fast service. Great comfort food. Menu is collection of American favorites. We typically go for breakfast but everything is good. Can get crowded / have a wait but they move quickly so never terribly long.

Extremly cute quaint diner with some extremely affordable prices. They have homemade pies and sausage. With neon all around its hits all the marks for a great diner. Highly reccomend.

Summit Diner in Somerset PA is a breath of fresh air. We were visiting Somerset for the first time when we discovered this landmark restaurant establish in 1960. It is a cash only restaurant which is fitting for the retro environment. It feels a bit like stepping back in time. They do provide an ATM on premises for those who need it. It is larger than you might think from outside appearance. We were seated immediately. The menu is varied and offers their own influence on crispy house made potato chips and fried pickles just to name items we tried. We dined during lunch and were pleased that our meals arrived with minimal wait time. The table service was friendly and professional. The hand painted decor was entertaining and interesting! We highly recommend Summit Diner and will definitely return on future visits to Somerset PA!

A great classic diner in 50s decor with burgers, shakes, malts, and pies. Breakfast served all day, and the hot plates you’d expect. Fast service and pleasant waitresses.

Solid! Exactly what we needed. Real diner. Some say they’re diners but they’re just breakfast joints. I like them too but if you say diner, be a diner. Summit passed with flying colors.
Everything was very good. It’s gotta be really good or horribly bad for me to take pictures. I like to give Google readers a picture of what they’re going to and you should go to this one. Great food, good coffee, friendly staff. What more do you need?

Perfect place to stop on the way to the slopes ⛷️ ! This place gave the energy I needed to shred gnar all day and carve up a storm! Seven Springs doesn’t know what hit it ! The service was top notch, just as you would expect from a restaurant like this! Me and my friends had a great time here, and definitely will make the 3.5 hour drive to eat here again!

Being from Nashville, TN, we wanted to try the biscuits and gravy, and they did not disappoint! Better than some places down south. The omelets were huge and full of toppings we wanted. Our server was great as well. Great place for breakfast!
