We stopped here for breakfast and everything was just wonderful. We ordered Skillet and farmer breakfast — perfectly cooked and so satisfying — but the real star of the meal were the Cherry Pancakes . Honestly, they were unbelievable — worth the visit all on their own.

The atmosphere is incredibly cozy, with warm design details that make you want to stay longer. Just a beautiful place to start the day.

Highly recommend!!!

The food was tasty. Portion sizes are good. Entrees included a trip to the soup/bread bar. The cup of soup and bread were very good. We went twice during our Door County vacation.

Very nice little place in Door county. Food was very delicious, although some prices were slightly steep. The atmosphere was amazing, like eating breakfast at your grandma’s. Cozy, quaint, and unique. Service was average, friendly servers with a slightly longer service time. Will be visiting here again and I would recommend it!

The service was very quick. I was impressed how quickly we got our meal. The server was friendly. We didn’t feel rushed to make decisions quickly about what we were going to eat. We got soup, bread, and crackers with each of the entrees we ordered.

We had a great experience here for breakfast. The coffee has a good taste. The breakfast hit the happy spot inside the tummy! The farmers special this morning had delicious curizo and fresh green onions on top. My experience here today is worthy of a 5-star review! I plan to go back to try other menu items. Two thumbs up!

To be honest, hard pass on this place for several reasons. Over priced food, average soups, and lackluster service. Plus they bill you $10 extra to share a meal. Went to Sip across the street our first two days in town, and tried this for Brunch for the 3rd, and we won’t be back. Photo is the lunch special dessert :/

What a gem. Stopped by on a whim and enjoyed their adorable patio with our pup. Dog friendly and excellent service. Ordered the Chicken Cilantro soup and Smoked Turkey Club—both were delicious! Until we visit again, Summer Kitchen! Thanks for the wonderful brunch spot.

Star ratings. 1 bad. 2 below average. 3 average / neutral. 4 good. 5 excellent.

I want to give this a 4 but need to come back. Had breakfast here, which was good. The lunch menu and unlimited soup sound amazing, and I can’t wait to try it. Overall food was good but breakfast food is pretty standard. The Corned beef hash was great. Normal service, eclectic decor collected over the years. Feeling of grandma’s kitchen which is the vibe they’re going for. Love that they reuse the broken cups and make mosaics with them.

We have stopped in here twice now for breakfast. The dining atmosphere is very pleasant and the service is excellent. Both times we got the warmed cinnamon roll, they are amazing. And each time we got something different to eat and the food was very very good. And if you get an interior window seat you might see the chickens wondering about.

The soup bar was $16.95 in 2020, now in 2025, it’s $26.95.

Adding cherry ‘sangria’ (all ice & zero fruit), and 1/2 a chicken salad sandwich led to $70 per person for lunch.

Such a bummer for a place I’ve loved since the 1980’s. Their chicken dumpling soup is excellent.

We both got food poisoning that evening, probably from their chicken salad sandwich. (Unless it was a fish boil, coleslaw with the fish, lemonade, or ice cream- it’s hard to know the source for sure)
