You have one of the best mixed grill platters right in your city.
The food quality, taste, service, and cleanliness are all 10/10. The prices are far better than most other places, and just look at the photos—everything looks incredibly delicious.
This is a must-try spot. One mixed grill platter is more than enough for one person and can easily be shared by two.
For nearby gym-goers: train hard at the gym, then refuel here with a protein-packed meal at a very reasonable price.
The service deserves special praise.

First, the customer service was extremely disappointing. The person at the counter was cold and dismissive. When I asked a question, he simply nodded without speaking. He handed me the bag and walked away to talk to someone else — no hello, no thank you, not even a single word. Basic courtesy goes a long way.
Second, I ordered a gyro — not a salad. What I received was overloaded with toppings thrown on top, and the chicken was cubed and didn’t taste good. I’ve never had cubed chicken in a gyro before. A gyro is supposed to be a wrap — folded in paper and easy to eat. This was so poorly constructed that I couldn’t take a bite without white sauce spilling everywhere.
Overall, the food quality and presentation were disappointing, and the service made it worse. I won’t be returning. Please show more respect to your customers — they’re the reason your business exists.

Very clean and well maintained restaurant. I ordered their lamb kabob wrap and there’s very little lamb in it. I attached a picture so you all can see but it’s like 95% salad and 5% lamb. This was like $14, not worth it at all

Chipotle’s got nothing on Sumaq! MashAllah the food is delicious, there are lots of choices for building bowls, including vegetarian and vegan. Food is clean, fresh, tasty and halal. Portions are generous. My family and I eat here almost weekly. Take note that the brown rice option should really be called “seasoned bulgar”. It’s not brown rice at all. It’s wheat bulgar and it’s delicious.

This is hands down the best mediterranean food i’ve ever had. The salad bowls, sautéed eggplant and mushrooms with a variety of customizable toppings is incredibly. It’s super healthy, fresh and delicious. I literally come here all the time it’s my favorite place to eat

If you’re anywhere near Massapequa and haven’t tried Sumaq Grill & Bowl yet, you’re seriously missing out! This place is a hidden gem. The service is absolutely top-notch—everyone is so friendly and accommodating, they make you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. There is ample seating. They have a bar seating that looks out at the parking lot. Booth seating and regular tables.
I’m usually not a fan of Mediterranean spices, but Sumaq has completely changed my mind. The flavors here are incredible! We can’t get enough of their #6 with brown rice and #7 with white rice. Both dishes are bursting with deliciousness and have us coming back for more.
In fact, we’ve been there three times in just one week! That’s how good it is. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!

I had my first experience with Turkish food today, and it was good! My food was an Chicken Adana burrito with lettuce, tomato, corn, white and avocado sauce. My drink was an Sarikiz (mineral water without sugar). I was the only customer for a while so the atmosphere was quiet, but the place is clean! The service was very nice coming from the workers I interacted with. I’ll come here again!

Lamb portion was much less compared to Chicken!! Lamb was also dry and hard. Food is simple doesn’t have a lot of flavor in general. Salad was fresh and place was clean and well maintained.
