I have tried this restaurant before, and I can only say that it keeps getting better each time. I will definitely return in 2025. The chef always surprises with the daily specials; he takes creative risks and achieves very interesting combinations. Discreetly and conveniently located on Main Street in Waupaca, it is 100% recommended. Last, but not least: Amanda is awesome!

Each visit to Sulten Belly feels like witnessing the hone of a true culinary artist. The chef’s skills are constantly sharpening, and it’s clear they are getting better and better with each meal.
This time, we started with the Fiesta Shrimp Salad — a refreshing and slightly spicy dish that struck the perfect balance between crunch and flavor. The grilled shrimp were a standout, with a smoky aroma that almost made you taste the fire in every bite. It’s a dish that truly showcases the chef’s growing mastery of flavors and technique.
Next came the Balsamic Roasted Mushrooms, which were simply perfect. The mushrooms were tender, infused with a rich balsamic glaze that complemented their earthiness beautifully. It’s inspiring to see how the chef continues to refine their craft, creating dishes that are both innovative and comforting.

Everything was amazing. The employees were all super nice and attentive, the decor is super cute and their dog friendly dog patio is nice too! They offer water bowls and ropes for the dogs to play with.

Yum! Found it his place on our way to a wedding and are so glad we stopped! Dined on the patio with Gilbert the sweet pup and enjoyed everything from the lemon water to Tuscan lemon chicken! Every thing was fresh, flavorful and delicious! Highly recommend!

I always love whatever I order from here when I get the chance to stop in for lunch, but a couple of days ago I tried the Fall Harvest Panini , and I’m not exaggerating when I say I’ve been thinking about it on and off ever since. It was magic, the perfect balance of flavors in one sandwich. If you haven’t checked this place out yet, you’re missing out. Whether you want to dine in their cozy restaurant or grab something quick to go, it’s absolutely worth the stop.

Very cool place with excellent food. Lots of fun decor and nice seating. Mac and cheese was great, Mediterranean sandwich was awesome too. One odd thing, you order at the counter and then they bring your food out. There are no servers. I found it odd that we were asked to tip at the counter when we paid, and not at the end. Other than that, this place is great.

We stopped here for lunch on the recommendation of the Bookcellar and Aquamos Coffee staff and we were blown away by how great everything is about this place. The food was so good we came back for the lunch the following day to try something different. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful, the vibe is laid back, and the food is delicious. If you’re in the area, don’t miss out on a great meal.

Such a gem of a restaurant! The food is fantastic and the staff is super nice. My lunch included a delicious sandwich with generous layers of meat and cheese and one of the best Caesar salads I’ve ever had! I highly recommend getting the beer cheese bacon dip with your chips as well. I can’t wait to return the next time I’m in the area!

I stopped for lunch on my way thru town. Was happen to find this place. The environment is clean and modern. It smells tasty as soon as you walk in. You order at the counter and they bring the food out to you. The smoked turkey sandwich was fantastic. I sat outside in the back which was covered for shade. They are dog friendly as well.
