Soft, crusty, fresh bread paired with a flavorful, sweet paste made from oil, tomatoes, and Mediterranean spices began a delightful taste experience. Our lunch choices included tender, delicately seasoned leg of lamb served over rice and delicious spiced kabobs. Before and during the meal, everyone enjoyed the hot tea served by our friendly, hospitable waiter.

Loved! First, the host and server were super friendly. We had the hummus appetizer with the homemade bread. The bread was hot and amazing.

We also ordered the spinach and cheese pie for an appetizer, which were slightly mushy inside but overall really good flavor.

For dinner, my hubby had the shish kebab (lamb) and I had the sautéd chicken. Both had great flavor and were cooked well. We will definitely order both again!

And finally, the “special baklava” speaks for itself. I e never seen such a big piece and it’s made with nuts from Turkey.

This place is worth your visit!

I am still learning about Mediterranean food so this was another adventure to discover things I like. We tried the hummus with bread, and it was great. We also tried the appitizer falafel and I felt it was a bit overcooked. My husband got the lamb shish kebab and thought it was amazing. After our meal we were offered freshly made pistachio baklava. It was definitely the star of the meal! We went during lunch so it was not busy. The service was quick and our server was pleasant.

Authentic Mediterranean cuisine that meets all expectations.

Came in on a Sunday night with my girlfriend an hour before they closed and the place was hustling with customers. There was a-lot of big parties and it seemed like the only two top was my girlfriend and I.
This was my first time trying a Mediterranean restaurant and after reading the reviews, my expectations were high.

As soon as we walked in, we were cordially greeted and sat by one of the two servers working that night. As I acclimated and settled into our booth— i overheard the conversations happening at the closer tables( was not trying to be nosey) but the common denominator was the foreign language. It was either Turkish or Bulgarian which it is important to note that the servers communicated to them in their language too. It was very cool to see.
I was not able to understand a single word they were saying but this immediately signaled to me the great reputation as a restaurant they have amongst their own community which is a green flag.

I felt like a tourist in Turkey as if this restaurant tele-transported me to a Mediterranean city in which only I spoke english and the servers just happened to know english as well.

The menu at a glance was overwhelming but our server helped us by describing and recommending certain dishes after learning that it was our first time there.

We ordered their famous Turkish coffee which was like an espresso shot but with a thicker consistency and a layer of a thin foam at the top. The only downside was the portion size which was literally the size of a shot.

We then ordered appetizers and for that we ordered hummus and rolled cheese pie.

The hummus came with their baked-in-house bread which came with a side of olive oil topped butter and it absolutely hit the spot and was a perfect precursor to the amazing main entree that followed.
The bread was filling, fluffy, and very well combined with the hummus.
Needless to say we wiped the appetizer plates clean.

For our main entree we ordered the chicken kebab and the beef kebab medium rare.

These two entrees over delivered and outlasted all of my expectations. The meat on the beef kebab was tender, juicy, and TV- commercial kind of crisp. Cannot remember the last time i had such a great steak.

The chicken kebab was also very well cooked and it had that golden color on the outside but it felt as if it melted in your mouth as soon as you took a bite. FREAKING DELICIOUS!

Both entrees came with a side of rice and salad which was very filling and the perfect amount of protein and carbs. Very healthy which made this experience even more enjoyable and characteristic of a Mediterranean diet!

We were so satisfied and full that we couldn’t fit in a dessert but next time around i will try their very own special baklava which almost all the tables around us ordered after their meal.

I will recommend and certainly come back to this hidden gem in northern Cincinnati

Very delightful 5/5 ⭐️

Sultans is an absolute gem in Cincinnati! The Friday lamb shank with eggplant and tomato sauce is truly exceptional – the best home-style meal you’ll find anywhere around. And the baklava… wow! Their fresh pistachio baklava paired with coffee or tea is the perfect way to finish your meal.

If you’re tired of the usual junk food options, Sultans is the place to go. A must-visit!
