We enjoyed our date evening at Sullivans. Taylen, the hostess, seemed to be new but was very personable and friendly. We were going for happy hour and she didn’t know we were supposed to sit at the bar so we ended up not being able to enjoy that experience and ended up having an early dinner. Our server, Marie K, who is also from NY was super nice and gave us LOTS of recommendations for food items and drinks. The food was great and the atmosphere was nice as well. I’m looking forward to going back and trying more dishes.

I celebrated my birthday at Sullivan’s Steakhouse and it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish! We were warmly greeted as soon as we arrived, and I appreciated that the restaurant wasn’t overly packed, which made the evening feel relaxed and intimate. The entire staff was incredibly pleasant, attentive, and truly made me feel celebrated.
The recommendations were spot on! I ordered the tomahawk steak, calamari, cheesesteak eggrolls, crab fried rice, and a blueberry lemon drop — every single item was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The tomahawk steak was cooked perfectly, and the crab fried rice paired beautifully with it. To top it all off, I was treated to a chocolate cake with ice cream for my birthday dessert, which was the perfect sweet ending to the night.
The ambience was beautiful and set the tone for a special celebration. Valet parking is available, and even the valet attendant was kind enough to wish me a happy birthday, which was such a thoughtful touch.
I highly recommend Sullivan’s for any special occasion or even just a great night out. I’ll definitely be back!

My wife and I went to Sullivan’s Steakhouse in Charlotte N.C. for lunch, today. My wife had a bowl of shrimp and lobster bisque and a jumbo lump crab cake as an appetizer. For her main course, she had a filet mignon steak with spinach and mashed potatoes as sides. I had a bowl of french onion soup and a jumbo lump crab cake as an appetizer. My main course was the filet mignon steak with spinach and mashed potatoes. For dessert, I had a slice of key lime pie. Our server was Liam.
The food was delicious. From first to last bite, just delicious. The service was excellent. Liam was exceptionally professional, attentive, courteous and efficient. The ambiance was great, even including the background music.
By every measurable standard, our dining experience was exactly what we expected from a high end, high quality, steak restaurant. I highly recommend Sullivan’s Steakhouse to anyone looking for a first rate steak dining experience.
As for my wife and I, we will definitely be back.

Celebrating one of our girlies so we made rsvps at Sullivan’s. Underwhelming, is the word for this “upscale” steakhouse. It took about 10-13 mins for our group of 6 to be seated, which was not bad per se but the area by the hostess gets very congested for 3+ people to wait there. Our waiter, Isaac, had the best attitude and presence however, due to the noisy environment in the dining room, actually hearing his speech was difficult. Nonetheless, we ordered drinks, myself opting for a bottle of Malbec, but just finding a wine I wanted was a scavenger hunt. Everyone enjoyed their cocktails but water refills were few in between. Appetizers were ok. The shrimp eggrolls definitely beat out the cheesesteak eggrolls. We all opted for their prix fix menu that is a 3-course meal for around $49 (competitive options when put against Charlotte’s Queen’s Feast days) however, the quality of this menu is questionable. Three of us had the shrimp & lobster bisque, which was more like gazpacho because it was not even warm. The salad was just that, a salad. Not sure if they use “special stock” or a dedicated pantry for this menu but the quality of the filet mignon’s were not the best I have seen. Everyone’s filet was way overcooked. I opted for the NY strip and went one degree under of what I would usually ask for and mines was exactly at medium (vs medium rare which is how I ordered it), and this tip worked for me. However, it was way over salted and they forgot to put my “bourbon peppercorn sauce” on there. Thankfully, Isaac was kind enough to bring some extra on the side once we asked for it. (Pictured is my NY strip after I poured the sauce on it.) The salmon was cooked perfectly, but that spinach was DRENCHED in the oil. Not just sautéed. The lobster Mac and Cheese….ugh cannot even call it that. The Mac was not cheesing and the lobster was non-existent, except for the two little pieces on top. The crab rice…lol picture attached because what?!? Don’t even ask me about those dry-axx mashed potatoes. To this day I cannot wrap my head around those potatoes being served at a restaurant like this. The asparagus was asparagus. Joint did not hit the spot. Will definitely NOT come back. This amount of money can be better spent elsewhere.

I came here yesterday for a friends birthday. The service from our waiter was amazing. That was the only thing that was 5 stars. His attention to our table was top tier and he was so nice. I had a prickly pear Paloma as my cocktail which I did enjoy. For starters, we ordered some steak egg rolls, and also shrimp, which were very good . I enjoyed my Caesar salads. But amount of time we waited I expected way more. I got a filet migon and it wasn’t made to my temperature so I ate it so I don’t have to wait longer. The steak had good flavor but the mashed potatoes were hard. I ordered the lobster Mac and cheese as the side and it was not good at all. Very dry and it was burnt all at the top. One of my friends had the Salmon with spinach as the side and said it had no flavor and it was just drenched in oil. The salmon she says was very good and flavorful. To end the night I had a cheesecake that was so good.

Came here in December to have a family dinner before the holidays. Overall, we had a great experience. My only complaint would be the service was a tad slow and the food took about 40 minutes to come out. On top of that, the A5 Wagyu we ordered was not prepared correctly and had to be sent back to be fixed. Once corrected, it was good. We started with the Dynamite Roll as an appetizer and it was great. We also ordered Deviled Eggs with Caviar which was good. For entrees, we went with Filet Mignon, A5 Wagyu and Faroe Island Salmon. Everything tasted great. We had Cheesecake for dessert and it was really good. Overall, we spent almost 2 hours at dinner and there is parking in the deck next to the restaurant but they only comp the first hour so we had to pay a small amount to park.

We started with the Philly cheesesteak eggrolls, which were packed with flavor and perfectly crispy. The Caesar salad was fresh and well-balanced, and the French onion soup was rich, savory, and easily one of the best we’ve had.
For the main course, the Cajun ribeye was the star of the night. Cooked perfectly, full of bold flavor, and incredibly tender. To finish, we shared the vanilla crème brûlée, which was smooth, creamy, and had that perfect caramelized top.

Sullivan’s never fails me but I must say my last visit prompted me to do a review!! I love trying to new restaurants for my birthday and the initial place I chose completely ruined my bday. My brother asked how we could fix it and I immediately said “take me to Sullivans please”. So glad we had the redo.Our server Zaye went above and beyond to ensure I enjoyed my bday lunch/dinner! I even tried a different steak outside of my usual (bone in ribeye)! I tried the Wagyu steak and OmG the flavor, texture, and tenderness took me to another planet! Super savory! It’s hard for me to step outside my usual and I trusted Sullivans and it was soo worth stepping outside of my comfort zone! The crab cake was a complete orchestra for my tastebuds as usual! We tried the calamari as well which was my first time trying at Sullivan’s and the tangy sauce took the dish over the top! A great twist to calamari! My brother had the ahi ahi tuna steak and he loved it! He actually wanted to thank the chef haha! We tried the crab rice as well, we asked for an extra side of the oyster sauce and that did the trick! The oyster sauce is very flavorful! Zaye was very attentive and personable! He even left me a personal thank you card which made my birthday celebrations even more special! Thank you Sullivan’s as always for a beautiful and memorable experience!
