Nice little stop. I had the Sully burger, which was cooked to medium as requested. The French onion soup was decent too, though the croutons did have a slightly sour taste that was a little off putting. French fries were just typical frozen, which is too bad because hand-cut fries at a place like this would have been a beautiful bonus.
I felt it was a little expensive for the overall experience.

Great food! Great service! Relaxing atmosphere. I had the Ahi Tuna Steak, broccoli, and sweet potato waffle fries. The tuna was delicious with the balsamic glaze! The broccoli was fresh and steamed well. The waffle fries were a nice change of pace and they tasted good, too! My partner had the fried perch sandwich. Lots of fish, large bun, and very tasty!

The buffalo shrimp and Asian shrimp appetizer was delicious. Also enjoyed the spinach and artichoke dip. I had a med. rare 12oz NY strip which was very good. Mac and cheese was sooo good. Wish I hadn’t saved it till the end. Good service- very friendly.

This was my second visit to Sullivans, this time for lunch today. The chicken strips were so overcooked it was visibly dark brown. The chicken on the Cobb salad was chewy and inedible. The fries were so undercooked they sat in their grease. The rest of our meals were good – not great. Do better

Overall, the restaurant was great. The atmosphere was cool. A friend of our’s had given given a pretty good review when we asked if they had ever been there. Our waitress was awesome. She was on top of everything. Our cups never were empty. She was prompt and friendly. Some great qualities to have when working in the food service industry. The salads were very nice. Lots of ingredients. Everybody in our party enjoyed their food very much. My only complaint, and the only reason for only giving 4 stars is because I had ordered the panko, kettle chip crusted walleye. The fish itself tasted good. The breading, however, seemed like it had sat in the fryer too long, or else maybe it was the oil that it was fried in, but it had a burnt taste to it. We went here later in the evening, so I didn’t want to bring it to the attention of our server, because I didn’t want any of the workers to stay later than they had to, to try to cook a different piece of fish. I’m not taking away from the restaurant at all. We would gladly return and try other offerings

This place has old world charm. I felt like I was in a rustic cabin. Ornate light fixtures and deer head on the wall. Seating was comfortable, Food delicious and we could carry on a conversation. They have outdoor seating which is great for this warm weather fall we are having. Server was great. Definitely a return trip is planned here!

This was our 2nd time here. Our waitress was sweet and made good conversation while taking care of our party of 8.
We ordered the fried pickles, Mac-n-cheese with lobster and the beef tips. The Mac-n-cheese was pretty amazing and creamy. The beef tips had great flavor but came out a little overdone. The asparagus was good off the grill with a little chare like we like.
We will visit here again while back in the area.

Restaurant itself was very nice. The sort of place you just want to be. Service was ok and the food was disappointing, at best.
I ordered the Cajun black and blue burger- medium.
It was a well done preformed patty with little actual taste. Not sure why any restaurant such as this would offer anything other than a hand made/pattied burger.
And the bologna sandwich my husband ordered well, it was not thick cut.
Anyway, suffice to say it was just

We dined inside on Veteran’s Day when Veterans received a free meal, so the restaurant was busy. That did not affect the quality of service or food we received. Everything tasted wonderful: my husband ordered a mushroom and Swiss burger with fries and I had pork osso bucco with a warm salad and a side of grits. Everything was cooked to perfection and our server Jeri (I hope I have your name right!) was attentive and warm and friendly.

Stopped in for lunch and was immediately impressed by the look of the building from the outside. We were greeted immediately and seated quickly during the lunch hour. I had the avocado burger and would definitely suggest, the taste was amazing! Looking forward to being back in this town and trying other dishes they have.
