I had Sullivan’s catered for my wedding in May and absolutely LOVED IT! The food was a crowd favorite. Food has always been a form of love for my family, and they were very impressed. The catering process was seamless and easy. The variety was amazing, which you cannot find with most catering places. From pork tenderloin to shrimp and grits & crab cakes to the mash potato bar – everything was amazing! They really worked with us on exactly what we wanted. I could not recommend more for any event!

My first time dinning at Sullivans and it was my birthday. The food was a 10 out of 10! My server Rachel was the best server I’ve ever had in my life! She was very attentive and very informative of the menu. I can’t wait to come back! The food is a must try, will not disappoint. Thank you for an amazing first experience!

This place was amazing. We had Jeff as a server and he gave us the best service that we’ve ever had. We got the lobster bisque soup and it was the best soups we’ve ever had, we even had to get another bowl. The portion sizes are pretty good. I got the warm kale salad, which was not much of a salad, but it tasted delicious. My boyfriend got the shrimp and grits, the smaller version. The smaller version was more than enough. I recommend getting the small one because it’s very filling. Pictured is the peanut butter cheesecake and the red velvet cake. Thank you Jeff!!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely outstanding — true Southern flavor done right.
Sullivan’s Metropolitan Grill knocked it out of the park. The shrimp po’ boy and shrimp & grits tasted exactly like what I grew up eating in Beaufort — rich, comforting, perfectly seasoned, and clearly made with care. Nothing overdone, nothing gimmicky — just honest, soulful Southern cooking.
The carrot cake is to die for — moist, balanced, not overly sweet, and worth saving room for.
The service was warm and welcoming, the space is beautiful, and every bite felt like home. This is the kind of place you bring people when you want them to understand real Southern food. We will absolutely be back.

What a great neighborhood joint. This is nigh the fanciest place nor too plain. It’s a good balance. They’ve a dining area, tavern side and a full bar. Wheelchair chair seating is easy

The soup was particularly tasty, and the food was generally well prepared. Service was friendly and the servers gave good menu advice.

Wheelchair access is easy and vegetarians will do well.

We were excited about dinner here, but we were sadly disappointed. We ordered two of their stir fry pork specials based on the server’s recommendation. Not a good choice. It was dry with dry rice and no sauce. And the server never asked how we liked it. I volunteered to say it was dry and she told us, “maybe they forgot the sauce.” For a $100 dinner, it’s just not acceptable. We will not come back and I advise diners to be careful about menu selections. Very disappointed.

Great food, huge portions, and prices are comparable to the meal you receive. The service is spectacular. From entry to seating, you can feel the history of this building (original ly Sullivans Hardware). Plenty of seating and a private room. The bar is spacious and has everything.

Enjoyed our dinner reservation for four on a Saturday night with family. Our server was on top of it and knew the menu like the back of his hand. The ribeye was good (not market price good, but good!). The rest of the table ordered the special which was Trigger Fish, Scallops, Shrimp, & Risotto which they all loved as a light, flavorful meal.

It was a little loud in the restaurant, but we still enjoyed the experience. We did try one of the dessert case items and I look forward to trying more next time.

Thank you!

We used Sullivan’s as our wedding caterer and we are SO happy with that decision. They exceeded expectations with their quality of food and service, and they went above and beyond in making the meal at our event beautiful, delicious, and efficient. They were very affordable compared to other competitors for the quality that we received, and Kellye, the catering manager, was very responsive and helpful during the planning process. We were very impressed with the staff that came day-of, and enjoyed the food so much! I’d recommend them as a caterer to anyone, we were so pleased with everything start to finish.
Thank you, Sullivan’s!
