The food was a split between average panel entrees and great appetizers. We enjoyed the duck fat fries and candied bacon, while the sandwiches were slightly unseasoned.

A great restaurant! Very lively atmosphere and a menu that accommodates lots of different tastes. My family loves that the windows are garage doors that can roll all the way open so it feels covid safer than many of the other local options. They also were very accommodating with a large group of 12, though they didn’t check back for refills as frequently as I would have liked. The place is also LOUD with bar chatter, but with all the TV’s, it’s somewhat obvious it isn’t exactly a romantic date night place.

My daughter and I went in on St. Patrick’s Day. We were seated right away. Live band and a warm fireplace. Fun setting. There are enough tvs to watch all the sports from anywhere in the restaurant. We both had Ruben sandwiches and ale. The sandwich was delicious and the fries were so light and tasty. Prices are pretty reasonable.

Stopped in for brunch the Sunday before thanksgiving, I own a small business across the street and have been meaning to checkout Sullivans for sometime. The menu did not disappoint. They were out of my first two choices but that means they are a hit and I need to make another visit. We all ordered crab soup and it came to the table cooler them room temp and it was a cooler morning. My sister thinks it’s because they put lump ceab on top. We ate it and didn’t complain about the temperature, their customer service is excellent and im sure it would have been corrected bit we were all hungry we had just ran a 10k so waiting wasnt an option. Highly recommend

My husband and I went Sunday night around 5 pm for the 1st time for an early dinner. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and seated quickly. No wait at all. Our server Kyra was absolutely AMAZING. She took the time to ask us if we were 1st timers to the restaurant and explain the menu options to us. She recommended some of her personal favorites and went over just about everything on the menu with us. Our cocktails were delightful! For appetizers, we got the calamari and Trip dips. They were TO DIE FOR! My husband, who is a much pickier eater than I, even tried the calamari ! He loved the vadalia onion dip and that is not something his pallet would normally go for. (He slopped it up). As an entree, I had the shrimp burger with multiple in house made sauces that Kyra had suggested on the side. One was a cilantro sauce, one a lemon mayo, one a ketchup (to go with homemade French fries) and one was a Worcestershire mix. Everything was Devine! No exaggeration. I had to force myself to stop eating! My husband’s entree was the crabcake platter with potatoes. The helping was so large, he couldn’t finish it. He said “It’s the best crabcake I’ve ever had!” That is a lot to be said because this man gets a crabcake from EVERYWHERE we go!! ♀️ ♀️. I have no complaints about anything. The service was great. The food was beyond delicious. It was overall a pleasurable experience. I cannot wait to go back! Thank you Sullivan’s Cove for the amazing dining experience. Next time, I’m having the steak !

Visited Sullivan’s Cove for the first time last night and what an awesome dining experience!
Driving up, we were pleasantly surprised to hear live music. A friend recommended support Sullivan’s Cove that opened just before the pandemic. Walking in with the music pumping the hostess were very welcoming and friendly. The one hostess, working in a boot noticed my JMU shirt and started a conversation on it. We were seated right in a roll up, garage style window with a great view of the band, Mac + Blue playing outside.
Our waitress, Megan was a true delight. She was very knowledgeable and crudely. She offered beer specials, appetizer and main dish selections. Everything was dynamite! We had craft beer, Crispy Sprouts, A side salad, wings and the 1759 Stout Smash Burger. For dessert we scarfed down the S’mores Brownie.
Delicious from start to finish! Megan took great care of us and checked up on us frequently. When she saw my burger she asked if it was cooked to my specifications. It was delicious. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and really yummy food! We will be back!
Thank you for taking such good care of us Sullivan’s Cove Crew!

We found an amazing restaurant with exceptional tasty food and bombshell entertainment in an awesome location! This place is not just a restaurant to sit and eat. The owner is local and provides a platform for entertainment and artists —no matter what age group to share their passion and lively up the mood for its guests. I’ve been around the world, and this restaurant truly has been a jaw dropping experience for me and everyone else I have invited out for dinner, karaoke and a good show. The customer service is on point and consistently great EVERYTIME! We all work hard for our money and I promise that you won’t ever regret spending your money or time at this amazing location. Lastly, the Happy hour menus runs from 4pm – 7pm and you will be astonished at what they have in store for you. You better go and get a taste of this local restaurant and their awesome entertainers that do great shows!

Two stars because the food was edible and the waitress Mackenzie was really very sweet.
We went for brunch. My best friend got the fruity pebbles French toast for 13$. I’m not sure if they know what French toast is. There was no custard, it was not dipped it anything. It was quite literally just toasted bread with fruity pebbles on it. Her sausage had no seasoning. It was a meatball with bits of pepper in it. Her potato hash was okay, again, underseasoned with a lot of red pepper.
I ordered the crab omelette for 17$. I ate it. It wasn’t bad. It was just a small omelette with about a tablespoon of crabmeat on top and a small spoonful of hollandaise. My potatoes were good. Just potatoes in butter. Needed salt and pepper.
$31.80 with two waters and we both wish we had just gone to the breakfast shoppe next door. Now we know ♀️

Definitely try the pretzel! It will easily feed 3 large men. I had the Mahi Mahi on the daily special menu and the Chesapeake Buffalo wings. Excellent service and great atmosphere!

I stop by yesterday around 4pm. A decent crowd for a Monday, nice and simple decor and long tables behind the bar maybe encouranging people to make new friends? The bar is also nice, 3 screens to watch sports and 1 more with the beer selections on the side. Bartenders were very friendly and the food (I only order 1 appetizer) was very tasty. I’ll be back for a full dinner but seems to have a promising future! Well done.
As I promised before, I was back for a full dinner or at least thats what I was hoping for. Dinning rooms was very clean, 6 people seating at the bar, properly separated to assure distance, all emplyees wearing face covers. No hosttess at the host stand, so I just walked over to the bar where the young bartender seemed to be a little overwhelmed. After like 5 minutes he finally say hi and offer me a drink. I asked for Oktoberfest twice because he looked confused, until I said “Sam Adams” he realized of what I wanted.
The I proceed to order food (this is the moment when the whole experience crashed) I asked for “Monkey Bread” (pretzel with beer cheese and mustard) thinking of a good appetizer to enjoy my beer, but a young lady came to inform the bartender there were no pretzels.
I asked then for Cream of Crab, and once again, young man came back with bad news: No cream of crab!
So, I ended up ordering a Cob Salad with chicken. Decent, ranch dressing on a plastic cup (I was never ask or offer a choice for dressing, but honestly I didn’t ask either). I want to be clear I’m not blaming on the bartender, this is clearly a management problem for not communicating *86 items on the menu.
I was tempted to order banana pudding for dessert but at this point I was just affraid they didn’t have it so I just paid my bill and leave, thinking its a great looking place but perhaps you should ask what is actually available on the menu before ordering.
