Visiting Main Street from Langley is always a treat, and this time we decided to give Sula a try — and we’re so glad we did. As devoted fans of Indian cuisine, we had high hopes, and Sula delivered on every front.

From the moment we walked in, the warm ambience and soft lighting created an inviting atmosphere that instantly drew us in.
The service matched the setting perfectly — attentive, welcoming, and genuinely hospitable throughout the evening.
The food was the real highlight. We shared the Coconut Chicken, which was absolutely bursting with flavour, and paired it with steamed rice and a Spinach and Paneer naan. Rounded out with a bottle of wine, it was a beautifully satisfying meal for two. We’ll definitely be back on our next visit to the neighbourhood!

We had such an amazing time at Sula’s Restaurant, and a big part of that was thanks to Raj and his fantastic team. From the moment we arrived, the energy was warm, welcoming, and full of life, it instantly set the mood for a great evening.

The food was absolutely on point. We started with dahi puri, which was perfectly balanced and refreshing, followed by vada pav sliders and tandoori momos that were packed with flavor. For mains, the paneer makhani and kofta dil bahar were rich, comforting, and beautifully cooked. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and delicious.

The drinks were equally impressive — the Bhangra and our other cocktail were fun, refreshing, and complemented the food perfectly. And ending the night with chai and pistachio cake was the perfect sweet and cozy finish.

What really made the experience special was the lively ambiance and the attentive, friendly service. Raj and his team truly know how to create not just a meal, but a memorable experience. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend!

I went to Sula Indian Restaurant, Commercial Drive and Sula Indian Restaurant, Main Street and also tried Sula Indian Restaurant, Davie Street with my family and we had a great time. The food was full of yummy Indian spices and everything tasted tasty. I got to try butter chicken, naan bread, dal and some sweet goodies and it made my mouth happy. The people serving us were friendly and helpful and we felt welcome right when we walked in. Some of the dishes were spice-y but you could ask to make them mild which made it easier for everyone to enjoy. I think this place is really good for lunch or dinner with friends or family because there are lots of things to try and the food looks exciting and colourful. I will definitely go back again to try even more yummy dishes next time!

Indian fine dining at its best. You can’t go wrong with sula. This is the probably one of their older branches and it has kept its charm. We tried the following:

Sub continental (4/5)
Dahi Poori (5/5)
Vegetable Pakora (2/5) – it was too dry
Zafari Chicken Tikka (3/5) – not flavourful
Old Delhi butter chicken (5/5)
Saag Paneer (5/5)

Service was amazing!

Beautiful restaurant ! I was there for the dine out 2026, the menu was great! 5 courses are unbeatable. I sat at the bar waited by Nitu, he was patient enough to explain different dishes to me since I was unfamiliar with Indian cuisine. Nitu was very attentive, great service.
Food was delicious and generous portions.

Love the rose chai and rose pistachio cake !

Food was beautifully presented !

Can’t wait to try more dishes from the menu.

First time coming here. I’m a sucker for butter chicken or goat curries and I asked the server to recommend something different. They said chicken madras which they said is very different. When I tasted it, it tasted like butter chicken with coconut. It’s good but not very different. Portions are quite big and you can probably make 2 medium sized meals with it.

The mango lassi is good and the veg pakora is good. Samosas were also good and they are generous with the tamarind sauce. I was really excited to see paneer 65 as none of my friends have ever tried it. It was a bit disappointing as it was not crispy and not flavorful. I think the best 65 is still Bahubali Birtani House in Surrey.

Servers are extremely nice here. The atmosphere and decorations are fantastic. I would definitely recommend this place for their curries.

Came here to celebrate my friend’s birthday. The service, ambiance and decor were great. The manager came out to ask how the food was and the staff honoured my request to have a complimentary birthday dessert for my friend and even sang happy birthday to her which was very sweet. I was disappointed that the tandoori vegetables that I ordered for myself and the paneer for my friend didn’t come with rice or roti. We had to order roti (which didn’t have very big proportions) and rice separately which was $5 each — quite expensive. I would come back for the ambiance and service but the value for the food is lacking.

The food, atmosphere and service were excellent. Our server Nitu checks up on us every now and then to make sure we needed anything else or how was the food. He was very knowledgeable when my friend had a question regarding the dish on the menu. I would come back and recommend to my family and friends.

Sula at Main St. is one of our favorite Indian restaurants in Vancouver.
We went there for dinner last night and were seated at the bar.
Our bartender Raj delivered excellent customer service. He recommended several unique drinks that were very tasty.
For food we had the Chatpata Sev Puri, Garlic Cheese Naan, Kashmiri Naan and the Black Pepper Lamb. The dishes were all done very well, especially the lamb which was tender and the sauce delicious.
We had a great dining experience thanks to Raj and the Sula kitchen crew. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The food was yummy, our uber driver had so many stops so it took over an hour to get to us. For this reason the pakoras had to be reheated. They were hard, dry and cold but they time they reached us but nothing an air fryer didn’t fix. The butter chicken, shai paneer and naan bread were well
Seasoned and tasty.
