We did not have reservations on this Friday night..we walked right in and got lucky with a table since most tables were taken. The smell of the food was enough for us to stay and give it a try! We tried the papaya salad and it was refreshing and the dressing was perfect.
Our dinner entreats were delicious, but the service and the desserts were amazing. Kiki was very pleasant and attentive to our needs. We also tried the mocktails – strawberry guava & the Mr Ginger – both recommend.
We will definitely be coming back!

We had a lovely dinner at Sukhumvit. The ginger drink and yuzu mojito were a bit on the sour side, but the food more than made up for it. The coconut shrimp was crispy and delicious, and the Thai green curry was outstanding. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and the staff were incredibly friendly.

Food was OK. Most dishes we could not have since it contained fish sauce. The Ginger drink was excellent. We ordered the drunken noodles and the rice with eggplant. Both were Ok, nothing to rave about.

One of my favorite Thai place I go to…Always like coming back and bringing new people to try it. My only downside is I wish they would give more rice for the amount of curry that you get. At least two orders and after that, you pay for the third because the portion is so small

We had a nice lunch at Sukhumvit on a Saturday. It is decorated nicely and we were looked after very well by Wendy. We ordered the whole red snapper in tamarind sauce, pineapple rice with shrimp, and Pad Thai with chicken. The fish was tasty and the tamarind sauce was flavorful. The pineapple rice was not sweet which I am glad it wasn’t, and had a good taste of turmeric which I liked. Pad Thai tasted quite good like in Thailand and not sweetened for American palates. Overall I was happy to find a Thai restaurant with a reasonably priced menu that tasted quite authentic. I hope to be back soon!

What a lovely Thai restaurant in the middle of Montclair NJ. Food so authentically Thai and a restaurant decorated lovingly to bring a small piece of Thailand to NJ. Loved the food filled with freshness, flavor, and spices. It was just the two of us for dinner so we didn’t order too many items but whatever we ordered was top notch. If you enjoy fish then you must try the fried snapper with fresh mango and chilli salad. The massaman curry with shrimp was great as well and so very delicious with the white jasmine rice. The portions were large and we didn’t have room for dessert this time but I do have my eye on the fresh mango with sticky rice for our next visit to SUKHUMVIT. Lovely lovely place!

Amazing food, always fresh, everything is delicious! The inside is warm and inviting in the ambience is fantastic. Highly recommend! I got the broad noodles with chicken with brown sauce and Thai iced tea, both were perfect!

Very good food, with an easy to follow but varied menu. Nice location, and they have weekly lunch specials of their most popular items. Fresh ingredients with a generous use of flavorful seasonings. Indoor (with air conditioning) and outdoor seating options. Location typically has available street parking.
