Sukhothai Thai Restaurant Express III is an absolute gem, and from the very first bite, it took me straight back to Asia. The flavors here are authentic, bold, and incredibly well-balanced — the kind of food that immediately brings back memories of real Thai street dishes. It’s not easy to find a place that captures that level of authenticity, but Sukhothai does it effortlessly.

The standout for me was the curry. It was rich, creamy, perfectly seasoned, and packed with fresh ingredients. Every spoonful had that deep, aromatic flavor Thai curry is known for. It’s the kind of dish that makes you pause for a second just to appreciate how good it is. You can tell they put real care into their recipes, and the quality shows in every bite.

The rest of the menu is just as impressive. Everything tastes freshly prepared, the portions are solid, and the spice levels are spot-on. Whether you like mild or spicy, they get it right. The staff is friendly, quick, and helpful, and the restaurant has a comfortable, clean atmosphere that makes it easy to relax and enjoy your meal.

Overall, Sukhothai Thai Restaurant Express III delivers an experience that feels genuinely authentic — delicious food, amazing curry, and flavors that transport you. If you’re craving real Thai dishes that taste like they came straight from Asia, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend

The Service here alone is amazing! I felt so welcomed soon as I stepped inside. The servers were both so attentive and friendly. The service I received is enough to keep me going back. The food was great and huge portions too; Sukhothai Pad Thai, Spring Rolls and Bubble Thai Tea. My first experience and impression here was awesome.

Came here for lunch on May 21st. The food was good, but we expected it to be better. The Chicken Pad Thai decent, but the chicken was dry and the noodles were not as moist as they could have been. The curry dishes were too spicy, even though we requested mild. We’ve been here before and the other dishes were good, so I am sure we will be back eventually, just not in a hurry now.

My Wife and I love coming to this Thai Restaurant. It is simple and easy to order from. We always dine in and have the quickest services and the food comes out so quick, hot, and so damn delicious every time. We use to go to Thai Hut but since we found this gem and in Alamo Ranch we only come here. I recommend you give it a try and see for yourselves. They also honor our military by offering a military discount. Great job SukhoThai III keep being awesome.

This is my second time visiting this restaurant, but my first time ordering take out. On my first visit, I dined it around 2 pm. The food was great. This time I ordered takeout around 7:45. Whoever took my order took it upon themselves to make my meals ‘not spicy’ – even though I did not ask for it. The tom yum taley seemed to have less seafood than when I dined in, and the spring rolls were overcooked. I, unfortunately, won’t be returning, but for those wanting to try it out I’d advise going during lunch and dining in.

My recent lunch experience at Sukhothai in Alamo Ranch presented a vivid tapestry of contrasts. On the culinary front, the restaurant serves as a testament to the rich and vibrant flavors that Thai cuisine has to offer. The affordability of the meals was an immediate plus, setting a positive tone as we perused the menu.

We began our gastronomic journey with the potstickers and cheese rolls, both of which were served fresh, hot, and were unequivocally delicious. These appetizers hinted at the culinary expertise lying within the kitchen’s walls. The main course further cemented our appreciation, with the Thai fried rice with chicken hitting all the right notes of flavor and spice at a level marked ‘Hot’. It was a symphony of taste that was both exhilarating and comforting. The sesame chicken, with its perfect blend of crispy texture and saucy goodness, was another highlight that deserves praise.

However, the dining experience took a turn upon observing the restaurant’s interior conditions. Despite the relatively small and uncrowded space, cleanliness was noticeably neglected. Tables remained unbussed, coated in remnants of previous diners’ meals, and the floors were in dire need of attention. Moreover, the staff’s nonchalant attitude towards maintaining the establishment’s cleanliness, particularly a front-of-house worker who alternated between taking orders and personal leisure activities, was disheartening. It was evident that much could be done to enhance the ambiance and overall dining experience.

Despite these shortcomings, the culinary delights provided a compelling reason to overlook the less savory aspects of the environment. I must give special mention to the sweet sticky rice with mango dessert – a dish that not only tantalized the taste buds but also delighted the senses with its unique blue-colored rice, making it my favorite rendition of the dessert I’ve encountered anywhere.

In conclusion, Sukhothai in Alamo Ranch offers a culinary experience that can be described as a diamond in the rough. While the food stands out for its quality and flavor, the dining environment leaves much to be desired. A little attention to detail and cleanliness could transform this establishment into a gem worthy of its culinary offerings.

Good food and service. Convenient location away from Alamo Ranch shopping center area. Enjoyed our meal overall. If I were to complain and I am not. The crispy pork in the fired rice was more like jerky and dry. Place needs a good cleaning. We will be back. Overall great experience.

This is the best Thai spot in the area. Curry’s are all great. Cheese rolls and pot stickers were delicious. Thai tea was perfect but the pork fried rice was the star of the meal! Best fried rice in the area! Server was amazing. it’s a smaller restaurant but every seat was full and the one server available took care of everyone with a beautiful smile on her face.

I’ve tried several Thai restaurants in the area, and while they’re all on the pricier side, I’d say this restaurant is above average in terms of quality. The ambiance is standard, but the staff is friendly and welcoming.

Great little location for Thai food. The pad thai was very good, and the portions are big. The pot stickers are really good, the only thing that wasn’t great was the peanut sauce for the spring rolls, it felt like it was only peanut butter spread. The papaya salad was missing a little more crunchy-ness, but it was good. Our server was amazing, and went above and beyond.
