Really delicious, I chose the shacho ramen with tonkotsu broth and thin noodles. I also ordered takoyaki.

Aka: Royal Ramen, had offered much more to the dish than the current owners that had switched names. I’m not a frugal person at all but when I see additional items cost $1.50 per; the bowl gets suuuuuuper pricey.
I have dined all throughout Los Angeles for ramen with exceptional prices and have had much better with cost in mind.
Personally, I’d rather drive 30 miles and not save through gas expenses than get pinched for adding items that should be in the bowl.

Not that I add all these in, but….
$1.50 extra for egg, $1.50 bean sprouts, $1.50 fried garlic, )1.50 black garlic, $1.50 crab cake, $1.50 corn, $1.50 for everything extra.
This place is wildly priced after extras that belong in a bowl I can get elsewhere.

Overpriced for what you get, and the ramen is not great. The noodles were undercooked, and the broth was so-so. On a side note, I like to add a little spice to my ramen which didn’t appear to be an option here.

I love ramen, one of my favorite dishes that I have been eating since I took a 2yr job in Japan. And there are some great, and authentic ramen places in the LA and surrounding areas. One of my local favorites is in Azusa, one city over from this place. Well worth the short drive for me, better quality, bigger portion, not as pricey.

With soo many great Ramen choices in the area, this place really needs to ramp it up. Worth a try, because ramen is great – but then go try another place and you’ll notice a difference.

I also love takoyaki, so I ordered it. Too much breading, really small pieces of octopus which were very rubbery. More so than normal.

Service is great. Food is missing something. The flavor wasn’t there. Gyso were luke warm. Broth tasted eh. And I got the garlic bomb was expecting a mouth explosion with flavor. The cashu was a little hard and dry. No ginger to up the flavor. I don’t get all the 5 stars.

Had the garlic bomb ramen with spicy tonkotsu and it was delicious. Broth was amazing. I got the regular noodles, which were fine but my coworkers thin noodles looked better. Trying that next time.

My son brought me here for my first ever Japanese meal (I was raised in the Midwest), so can’t say how it compares with other places…it was better than I expected, but I won’t be running back. Liked the Mango Cream soda!
