Came with my friend for an early dinner and we were able to catch happy hour. The restaurant is nicely decorated and we sat at the sushi bar. The customer service we received from Kam and the sushi chef was excellent! I would come back off that alone!
Their happy hour menu is good with a variety of options to choose from. The drink selection is decent and I settled on wine. We started off with the gyoza, sake carpaccio, and crispy rice. I thoroughly enjoyed the gyoza and sake carpaccio! If you don’t mind fried foods, then you’ll enjoy the crispy rice option. Also, the shrimp tempura was good and has a lighter batter.
I then ordered the classic nigiri set, A5 Wagyu, and toro hand rolls. The fish was delicious, fresh, and crafted nicely! I enjoyed the nigiri so much I ordered an additional hamachi, chutoro, and otoro! I also sampled my friend’s order of the sugoi roll and we enjoyed this.
Overall, this is an amazing spot and I look forward to returning!

I visited a newly opened Japanese restaurant called “Sugoi Sushi”for lunch today, and it was a wonderful experience! Since I only had an hour, I tried their lunch specials, which included two options: sushi and fried rice. We ordered both, and everything was delicious.
The tempura shrimp appetizer was incredibly fresh, and the presentation was beautiful. The restaurant itself was clean, modern, and elegant, and the service was warm and attentive.
For the main courses, we had a six-piece nigiri sushi selection and a beef fried rice. The ingredients were top-notch, and the beef was incredibly tender and fresh.
For dessert, we tried a matcha mochi ice cream and a mochi cheesecake, both of which were absolutely delightful. The meal also came with a unique broth that reminded me of Vietnamese pho, adding a lovely depth of flavor.
We also enjoyed a cup of their coffee, which was rich and aromatic, and didn’t need any cream or sugar.
Overall, this restaurant’s lunch special was a fantastic experience. Great value, outstanding service, and a comfortable, clean ambiance make it highly recommendable. I’m definitely looking forward to trying their other set meals!

I had an amazing omakase experience here! Chef Danny was incredibly friendly and engaging, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the meal. Each piece was beautifully crafted, fresh, and full of flavor — you can truly taste the care and precision in every bite.
The staff were also very nice and attentive, making sure everything was perfect from start to finish. This place offers not just excellent sushi, but a truly memorable dining experience. Highly recommended!

I am always in this area and noticed there was going to be a sushi restaurant where the old meat market used to be!
Told my husband that we have to try it, at least once!
We were finally able to stop by and it did not disappoint.
We definitely had a good variety of food!
(We had nigiri, a few cold dishes, golden garlic beef & Wagyu entree that isn’t pictured.)
My son enjoyed the Sake Carpaccio so much, we had to add another order.
Our server was great. So glad he recommended Sakura masu nigiri (since we like salmon).
The young lady he was training was super helpful and nice as well!

Amazing dining experience! The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Highly recommend omakase experience. Sugoi offers an excellent selection of sake—Jenny was super helpful in recommending the perfect bottle based on my preferences. Highly recommend trying the spicy edamame, madai crudo, and miso black cod. Chef Jack and Chef Danny were so friendly, and we had a great chat with them. I’ll definitely be coming back!

My boyfriend and I had a little date night here and it was so great. They had really good happy hour deals that let us sample a lot of different types of nigiri. This is a new sushi location. Had the opportunity to try them out during their soft opening. They’re still working on the overall atmosphere and building their branding throughout, but it’s clean and modern with a large and spacious sushi’s bar.
The chef is passionate and very nice. There is love for the craft of sushi making with a nod to a couple Vietnamese classics done well. The house aged fish was excellent and hot foods were good. I can see them growing and developing their menu more and more. Definitely a gem stone being polished.
Good place for a date or social event. They’re building out a VIP/private party space upstairs, so this will be a go-to place for small gatherings and personal omakase experience.

Wonderful new sushi place. You need to try it out. I live nearby and I am so grateful this place opened up. We needed a top notch sushi place in this area. I’ll be back for sure!! Sushi was fresh and delicious. Enjoyed everything we had. They are still new and working the details but even with that, I still say 5 stars all around.

I have to say that my wife and I are very happy that we have an amazing sushi place down the road from us! We went to have a quick dinner to celebrate my new job opportunity, and we were so impressed with the experience of Sugoi! We normally don’t go out to eat currently, due to our 15 month old in her fussy stage, but the staff made us feel so welcomed and comfortable with our kiddo! The happy hour menu is very nice and priced well! We got an order of gyoza, crispy rice, an entree of the Classic Set (unbelievably amazing!) and an entree of the Golden Garlic Beef! Everything was truly top notch and the service was just as great too! We will definitely be back for date nights, and even more convenient that it’s down the road from home!
