There was a big party on the food side, and most of the tables were full on the food side and there was one waitress. And she was happy and bubbly and moving to please everyone like there was no tomorrow. She was fantastic. We came to try the pork tenderloin and oh my goodness we were not disappointed. It was absolutely delicious. The breading and the seasoning and the size of it were just delightful. We will be back! Great job to our waitress we appreciate you! We took most of my meal home because it was just so big.

After Interstate 80 and our other route option were completely shut down because of accidents caused by today’s snowstorm, Sugars was the place we stopped to wait it out and figure out what to do next. We were there on February 19, 2026, from approximately six thirty in the evening until ten o’clock at night.
The dedication of the staff was truly unbelievable.
Our waitress was incredibly polite and so eager to help. The cook prepared absolutely delicious meals that warmed our stomachs against the freezing cold outside. They took their service to a whole new level when a staff member (the chef), who was heading home, actually offered to guide us out to Route 92, which was finally clear.
As out of towners, the welcome we received was exceptional. The hospitality from the locals inside, who also stepped up with great tips to help us escape the blizzard, was heartwarming. We finally made it home after driving for more than twelve hours from Chicago, getting caught right in the middle of the storm along the way.
WITHOUT A DOUBT, reaching our destination would have been SO MUCH more difficult, stressful, and completely uncertain if we had not found our way into the warm and welcoming Sugars.

Server was very rude! I was told not to be that customer because I was asking questions?
1- is there a breakfast special? -No
2- how big was the CFS?- With her hands she showed me it was about the size of a baseball and said not big at all!!
Then, that’s when I was told not to be that customer!
3-then I mentioned about having a lunch special and not a breakfast special.
She said, never been a special in the 5 years she been there!!
I then said there goes your tip, her response was she didn’t care!
All with attitude!! Therefore, I didn’t order any food.
Lost my appetite!
And will not go back up there as long as she’s there!!
I’m not rating the food cause I did not try it!! I heard it was very good, but like I said I had lost my appetite due to your rude server!!
I did notice when my mother asked about your corn beef and hash server said it was real corn beef but looked like it was literally corn beef over hashbrowns.. I got up and left after that!! I’ve cooked, served food, + bartend bar on a Saturday!!
By myself!! And not once ever told a customer “not to be that person”

Came in to try their famous Pork Tenderloin Sandwich. The tenderloin was thick, crispy, and flavorful (8/10). The bun was pretty basic, but the sandwich overall was still satisfying. The fries were a standout — hot, crunchy, and clearly freshly made (9/10).
The meal with a drink came to about $18, which feels fair for the quality. The staff was friendly and attentive, though the bar itself could really use a refresh — the interior looks stuck in the 80s and feels pretty dated.
Still, worth a visit if you’re after a solid tenderloin and some great fries!

Food was delicious and I would recommend it to anyone. My issue is that unfortunately we had a seat right by the kitchen and got to listen to what I could only guess was the owner or manager belittle the kitchen staff. Im not sure who the lady was but I felt terrible for the person in the kitchen that was being mocked and made fun of by this poor example of management. We will be ordering food from this establishment again but never dinning in again. We will be taking ours to go. Thank you to the great cooks that prepared our food. Keep up the good work.

Overall, it’s a bar, so remember that going in. Otherwise, great service, super friendly staff, and good food. Burger was over done, but likely my fault as I failed to ask for medium. Salad was fresh, soup was great. Breakfast all day is excellent for the kids. I’ve music started around 8pm just as we were getting ready to leave. Music was great, mellow, not overly loud. I’ve been here many time for breakfast, lunch and dinner and I’ve never left unhappy or hungry. Solid place.

Came by and got a tenderloin sandwich, to go. It was very good, I gotta say.. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is just because I FEEL though, very well prepared and delicious as it was, the tenderloin is just to thick for my personal preference.. Large and thin!
