My girlfriend has been trying to tell me about this place for a while, and we finally had time to stop by and grab a bite to eat. I am so glad we did it. The burger… how can you sum up tasting something and feeling like home?! It was seasoned perfectly. The waffle fries were fantastic. The man who served us made sure our glasses stayed full, and ensured we got everything we needed. He told us a little about the place, and the signs on the wall are great too. The atmosphere in the diner part is great. We did stop in the store first and looked around. Cute store (bathrooms are nice and clean) with all the needs before hitting the lake. This is a place to go and eat, but do not rush it! These mom and pop places like this are for the more patient people. Take in the whole experience and I want to warn you to bring your appetite… I got humbled by the Double Royburger basket. The girlfriend basically scarfed her hot&juicy burger down. She said it was different and she absolutely loved it. Highly recommend!

Stopped off at Sugar Loaf Lake Store to pick up a bacon cheese burger on my way to Sugar Loaf Lake. Great tasting burger that I ate while viewing the lake. Excellent food and service!

We were told to try the pizza abs it did not disappoint! I forgot the ladies name that was working but she was friendly, the store has a mini used thrift store with used books, along with new fuses, bolts, and screws which can save a trip to town!

A friend brought me here while we were out and I’m grateful. Owners are lovely and laid back, but not afraid to deliver some good food for a good price. It may be a bit messy in the convenience side, but the diner was inviting, clean and humorous. The food was fantastic, a surprise I got for judging the outside rather than the inside. And while the convenience store may be a bit disorderly, if you want something, they just might have it.

I can’t believe we have lived so close and didn’t know what we were missing! Hands down one of the best burger places my husband and I have tried. Burger was thick and juicy, fries were absolutely perfectly done. Not to mention very friendly. Definitely give this place a try if you haven’t! We will be back soon!
