Fish quality is 10/10 as always. I went to the LA location a few years ago and and now the NYC location and they’re all consistently good. The nigiri and hand rolls are the perfect temperature and taste amazing. Highly recommend the yellowtail hand roll and the toro tasting special if they have it available.

Did the trust me. It was such a great experience. It was definitely worth the money. And I like how they have all the rules, like eat the food right when it comes and don’t dip your food in sauce if it doesn’t have sauce. I ended up having the green tea to drink as well and the whole experience was mind blowing!

The sushi here was soooo good, I’m still thinking of that tuna sashimi I got the trust me set for $40 and it came with 7 dishes which is honestly so worth it. Pictured below are my favourites: tuna sashimi with ponzu & chives and salmon & albacore sushi. I think I got too full towards the end because there were two hand rolls so it was a lot of rice. But I had an overall great experience!

Excellent food! We ordered the trust me options and also few from the specials. Service is no frills and quick. They bring out plates/items in sequence of what you ordered. No dessert. Sushi was great! Portion sizes are small. NYC pricing, $$$. Very crowded, next table is 6inches away.

Came on a busy evening and got seated fairly quickly. The service was great. The food was amazing as well. Everything was fresh and delicious. The only tiny downside is that it’s a small space that gets packed and very loud. Could be somewhat overwhelming. But the amazing tasting menu is worth it. For a reasonable price too!
