The first night I went the staff was cool but they gave me old food or the end scraps. I got home and it was dry, overcooked and burnt tasting. Didn’t eat none of it including the sides. I called to let the manager know and I could sense the attitude. She told me to come back when they open in the morning. I went back the next day, different staff. They acted as if they seen a ghost cause I returned the food. The audacity to get uptight over this mediocre, overpriced BBQ. I know bbq and this isn’t it. I didn’t eat it the second time either. Don’t waste your time nor money cause I want both mine back. At least try the Olive location.

The food was delicious. I forgot to take pics. The service was excellent.
I ordered the plate pulled pork. It is not served on a plate. They throw some paper on a big metal tray, write your order on the paper and then place your food on it. This might be fine for younger people but we took my 89 year old mil (it was her birthday dinner) and she only has one good arm. I guess we are old fashioned. My fork didn’t tear the paper but it was close. Again, the food was great, the staff were friendly and helped us with our order. The 4/5 is because of no plates. When you order a meal called a plate dinner, you (I) expect a plate.

Blows my mind this is the lowest rated Sugarfire. I’ve been to almost every one of them in the STL area and the staff were nice, food came out very quick, and was cooked near perfectly. One of the best sugarfire experiences I’ve had.

I got the brisket combo with two sides. Brisket was very tender and flavorful while still being quite juicy. I really liked the hot bbq and white bbq sauce for dipping. The Mac n cheese also very good though my baked beans were a little to firm for my liking, it was my first try so overall I was very satisfied!

The restaurant is nice and clean. The customer service was rushed and not very informative or inviting. I was visiting St. Louis from Georgia. They write on the tray paper with a real black marker and use that same paper and place the food you’re eating on top of the writing as well. The link I ordered was like a Johnsonville jalapeno hot dog from the grocery store. With cheese in it. The menu doesn’t state any of that. Then the meat was not even warm and fairly cold like it had been sitting on a picnic table at a family reunion or something. The sauces all taste just about the same. Except for the white BBQ sauce. It was the best one for me. It has a horseradish flavor to it though. So it’s definitely different if you like that flavor. The potato salad was very creamy and sweet. Kinda like a mash potato salad. It wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t the best. The fried green tomatoes were the best ! They were fresh and hot made to order. We all enjoyed them the best. The turkey came.in a nice portion size for the high prices but it was also not warmed back up before served to us..just placed on the bread and here ya goo! The fries were also fresh and hot and seasoned. They also serve crushed ice for the ice connoisseurs. It was great as well. For a real taste of BBQ this is NOT a spot I would recommend but thanks for the experience.

First time visitor and was not disappointed. The staff was wonderful offering samples before ordering. The food was fresh and delicious. My favorite was the ribs but also tried a little bit of all the meats. I ordered the coleslaw, Mac n cheese, potato salad and brisket stroganoff. My favorite was the brisket stroganoff. Great portions and yummy food.

We went here for the first time for my husband’s birthday. Everything was fine, but the food. I ordered the Brisket Cheese steak and it was messy and not very good. My husband got ribs and brisket with fries and coleslaw. He wasn’t able to enjoy the brisket because they didn’t put it in the bag. Everything was over $40 and I think that’s a little ridiculous.

Ordered from uber eats. Meat was delicious today and warm upon arrival. The fries were super cold. My milkshake had all types of black stuff in it. Almost like machine rubber. It was supposed to be a vanilla caramel bourbon shake….poured it out.

I wanted to share my experience during my visit to your Florissant location on September 30th. When I arrived to place a dinner order, I observed a young man at the register with his hoodie covering his head, resting his head on the register. When I looked over at one of the employees, she simply smirked.
A nice black woman with a curly bob greeted me and took my order, directing me to the register to pay. Another employee had to physically tap the young man to “wake” him up to ring me out. I paid, but of course received no thank you. While waiting for my food, the young man at the register began rapping a to himself.
This experience did not reflect a professional or welcoming environment. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and work with your team to improve customer service and professionalism in your stores.

Very nice staff. Ordered the pork belly hush puppies but found then to be overcooked on the outside and doughy on the inside. Also very little pork belly inside them. Mac and cheese noodles were very mushy. The jalapeño cheddar sausage was still mostly pink on the inside.
