When I went to Sugar beast I went before trying their mac & cheese. It was absolutely delicious. I really thought it was the best mac & cheese. I’ve had then I went again I’m at the owner of the store and I spoke with him. He was absolutely sweet. He offered some options when I asked him if I could purchase something under three dollars cause I only had 4 dollars in my account. He offered me his sugar coded, glazed croissant, and if I’d be eating it there or on the go, I told him I would be eating it right away, so he gave me a little tray. I also was looking at the chocolates and I said I would also get a chocolate. I got the mango chocolate and then I also had mentioned that I have been wanting to try their ice cream but manager said here go ahead try it. I tried four of the flavors. It was for chocolate crunch then it was salted honey and honeycomb ice cream, then strawberry and then watermelon sorbet after I tried all of those foods I immediately told him I would love to apply for this place because I love their food and it’s been really nice to get to know him. He had told me to make an application to the website and he would see it and would possibly be able to get the job along with the ambience in the store. It is absolutely adorable. I love it every time I come in it makes me wanna come over even more. I will definitely go on a date because I am a student at Byu I, and I also got some treat for myself and I plan to get more treats for my friends thank you sugar beast for always being such a great place and also having great food because that was the first time I had a really good food in a long time you guys are the best.

Beautiful shop with a stunning interior!
I was genuinely impressed by the elegant decor and inviting atmosphere—every detail adds to the charm of the place. They offer a delightful selection of ice creams and snacks, with unique flavors and quality ingredients that stand out. While the prices are on the higher side, the overall experience makes it worthwhile. The service was warm, attentive, and efficient. A lovely spot worth visiting, whether you’re treating yourself or enjoying a casual outing.

This place has the MOST INCREDIBLE icecream I’ve ever had! The flavors are fun, innovative, and unique. Plus, all their stuff is made from scratch, in house! Worth every penny and the 40 minute drive!

Sugar Beast is dessert heaven. I had the double scoop chocolate with Reese’s PB cup—rich, creamy, and exactly what my sweet tooth has been training for. They’ve got handmade cookies, ice cream, sandwiches, sweets of all kinds, plus karaoke downstairs and a full board game room upstairs. Basically, it’s impossible to be bored while eating sugar here.
Hot water in the bathroom. Clean hands = clean heart. The faucet even has the hand dryer built right in—wash your hands, slide them to the side, and voilà: instant dry, instant magic.
If you’re in Rexburg and skip Sugar Beast, you’re doing life wrong.

They are voted best ice cream in Idaho !! This is a destination spot for original hand made goodies! Seasonal ice cream, cookies with many new flavors and creations introduced monthly! They hand pick berries and use them in the ice cream and pastries and ice cream is churned in store using ice and salt for the creamiest consistency. The flavors are a wide variety of berry, chocolate, cookies and peanut butter creations including ginger snap and guava. The pastries and cookies use only the finest ingredients and all baked fresh daily! They send ice cream and treats all over the US . The environment is bright ,cheerful and reminds me of a theme ride at Disneyland. They even have karaoke Wednesday nights. provide catering options!! Definitely a must try and even worth it to go out of your way!!

Best dessert place in Rexburg (and there’s a lot of dessert places here). Probably the best dessert place in Idaho, and likely my favorite dessert place ever. The most important thing is that the ice cream offerings are ridiculously delicious (and so creative and fun!), and I’d come here for that alone. But it’s an extra treat to have such a fun and quirky environment to enjoy it in. Plus, they now have a vintage game parlor upstairs which is so much fun and brings back so much nostalgia with old games you can play.

Best ice cream in town, hands down! Amazing service and ambiance! Beautifully decorated and themed! The employees are so much fun to talk to and super nice! Warning they do not take cash. That’s the only negative thing I can say about them! Super cute location in a very unique building!

Their homemade ice cream is better than anywhere else in town- the watermelon lime sorbet is a must-try. The vibes are also so fun, they have a great game room with a million board games, and the customer service is also great!
