Ok, after my roadtrip on 66 from Chicago to Flagstaff, this was hands down the most delicious meal I had. Everything about this was amazing, and I would 12/10 recommend stopping in. The server lady was very kind and friendly. The man outside working the smoker was very nice and polite as well when I approached him to ask about the restaurant. If you want a home cooked meal, and want the flavor of love in your food, this is it. I would vacation back to Granite City just to eat here!

My first time there, and the food does not disappoint. The rib tips were fabulous, and I could not finish them in one sitting. The baked beans were perfect and complimented the tips very well. Extremely courteous staff. Prices were as expected. There were so many menu choices, I will definitely be returning to further explore their delightfully distinctive menu. This food is genuinely home cooked with love, the secret ingredient.

Love this place! They offer excellently prepared home style dishes which never fail to please. This has been our Sunday dinner go to spot for a while. The variety of options and quality of cooking make having a homemade Sunday dinner easy. I highly recommend them to everyone that loves food that tastes like it came out of your own (or your mom’s) kitchen!

A coworker and I went there for lunch. I had the gizzards they were awesome tender lightly breaded, hot and fresh. My coworker had two of the tacos with just meat and cheese. He said he really enjoyed them and he is a picky eater..service was great as well..I would have liked to see homemade sweet tea instead of bottled.

I tried the OX tail plate & it was good. Not greasy and flavorful. More of a Caribbean take, different from some of the local recipes but quite tasty. The service was very friendly, The speed was so-so about 7 or 8 minutes, but the staff was very accommodating. I hope they get more customers, it’s nice to see restaurants in the area. So I have ordered numerous items from this restaurant through the DoorDash app, and my biggest complaint is that they will make substitutions and they don’t call you even though my number is available they can tell the Dasher to let me know and I don’t like just everything they gave me a turkey leg can’t stand them they gave me some ripped tips I can’t stand them so you know it’s really a waste of my money , but I will say that their greens are very good. Cabbage is usually good. It was not today. Coleslaw is fair. I did not like the potato potato salad. Their catfish nuggets were very good. The fries were very good sweet potatoes were pretty good but kind of mushy I had a fried pork steak that was fairly good and the fried green tomatoes are good.

Oh my!!! Where do I start!! My family & I go once a week. It’s worth the drive! I love the fried chicken wings. They are delicious. The cheese burgers are delicious! The fried cod fish is so crispy & fresh. The oxtails, will melt in your mouth. A must try! So much to name. Go check it out, you want be disappointed & will love the prices$ Oh try the delicious dinners & grab a turkey leg.
