A great little shop to grab sweets and lunch too!
The sweets were super yummy, the chicken salad always taste fresh and the prices are amazing! I’ve meant to write a review two stops ago but I wanted to add photos to show. I will say, keep in mind they only take cash or check, but if you do stop by it’s worth every single penny. I believe that they also have a drive through as well. Sweet ladies!

Came to Sugar Plum for a small plain wedding cake for our small wedding, it was so beautiful, we picked the cake up the day before the wedding and it was still fresh like it was made that morning, everyone kept talking about how moist and tasty the cake was, I added the flowers and til death myself, thank you for our cake

Everything is priced so fairly. The meal deal was so cheap. I spent $10 and got a drink, chips, deviled egg, sandwich AND a dessert. Went back the next day and got 5 sweets for only $6.75! Workers are quick and friendly.

So I called in my order to the Sugar Plum and specifically told the lady that I was out in the parking lot and would be in as soon as she could get the order ready. I went to pick up my order( gave her enough time to make the order) and she started to make the order. I’m looking around at all the orders that have been placed sitting on the table. So I paid for my food then asked her politely “if you call in an order do they make it right then or do you still have to wait until you come in before they make the order.” I’m wanting her to make it make sense for me cause otherwise if they fix it when I get there there is no need to call it in. She gave me some excuse about it depends on how busy they were or because the man who works with her told her to go on and use it for another order. This makes no sense to me especially after I told her I would be right in to get it. Also they were still filling called in orders. She also really didn’t know what to say but managed to say something that didn’t make sense. I know what it made me feel like…but I will leave that on them! I come all the way from out of town to buy their food and this is what happens! Yes!!! Made me feel some type of way!!!

I have always loved this place the ladies inside working are very nice and polite to their customers. All the food is amazing. Haven’t been here in 7 years or more and the food is literally the same as it was back then. Consistency is the most important thing in the food service industry.

Great linch food in 2 locations on Wilson. They are not open after 5:00. There is not dining inside is the reason I took points off for atmosphere. They have delicious sandwiches, chicken wings, great desserts and more to take out.
