A feast for the eyes, perhaps… but for the credits they charge, a Sith trick this feels like.
Visited Sugar Planet, I did. Lured in by vibrant displays and a craving for sweet sustenance. A small bag of gummies and a single piece of fudge—just over $20 credits. Expensive, even by galactic standards.
The fudge? Bantha fodder, it was. One bite and into the trash it went faster than a podracer on Tatooine. Dry, flavorless, and an offense to dessert lovers across the galaxy.
They do offer ice cream, which seemed more reasonably priced—but after that fudge fiasco, trusting my taste buds again I did not.
The Force is not strong with this one. Browse if you must, but spend wisely, young Padawan.

Avoid the jelly beans at all costs. Gave a small scoop of jelly beans to my 8, 5 and 3 yr old and somehow there were shiny plastic jelly beans mixed in! Really glad no one broke a tooth eating these as my kids are pretty cautious with eating candy. Absolutely unbelievable.

The store was really cute but the employees were so rude. The man and woman behind the counter acted like they were annoyed with us. Our daughter who is 3 was looking around at all different candies and they just stared at us with a big mug. My husband asked a question about candy and they didn’t even let him finish before shouting “NO”. I thanked the woman as we checked out and all I got was “yup.” Definitely not going back here again.

My kids had ice cream and they enjoyed it however I felt the man and woman behind the counter were very off putting. They didn’t seem welcoming at all and almost seemed annoyed we had our 5 & 7 year old in there looking around. It’s called Sugar Planet you would think you’d be walking into a warm, happy environment and it was quite the opposite. Went once during our week at OOB and did not go back.

Chocolate is good, but the flavored ones don’t taste like anything, just plain chocolate. Got the key lime truffle, couldn’t taste even an hint of lime. Also got the Dubai chocolate, tasted like a chocolate milk bar.

Staff were borderline rude and seemed bothered that we brought kids in with us. Although they had a wide selection of candy, it was nothing extraordinary and rather expensive.
