Such a cute place! The best part is that you get a free topping with your ice cream, which fulfills all my kids’ hopes and dreams. The staff was friendly, and my kids really liked all the animals in the decor. The huckleberry cheesecake was delicious! Also, there are board games available to play with.

The shop is very cute. It is forest animal themed. They have about 20 ice cream selections. The ice cream was decent, but it wasn’t Coldstone. The shop will remind you of an animal themed Coldstone knock-off, and they will put a topping on your scoop. The topping is just on top instead of mixed into the ice cream. The serving size of a scoop is decent.

Delicious ice cream. We are traveling from the East Coast and love to check out local ice cream places. So we are sort of experts when it comes to ice cream. The variety of flavors were great, toppings great, friendly and helpful staff, good size scoops, fresh crispy waffle bowl and best of all creamy delicious ice cream. We’ll be back tomorrow before leaving town (and also getting some cartons to take with us).

We discovered this place about a month ago. Our initial experience was such that we decided to make it a weekly thing, despite it being a 30 minute drive after a 12 hour work day. Tonight, we arrived 10 minutes before closing. We were relieved to see another vehicle in the line. We were prepared to find an alternative if we were too late. We placed our usual order. All was well until I mentioned that my banana split didn’t have the chocolate chips that I had substituted for the peanuts. At that point, the worker condescendingly told us that we would need to come earlier next time and that she would not have served us. She audibly told the other worker that we should have been charged extra for the chocolate chips substitution. At nearly 50 years old, I do not expect to be spoken to like a child in trouble when I attempt to give business to a local business. We have been intentional about spending our money locally, but we have no problem having our favorite ice cream shipped from Texas as we have previously done. When I spend nearly $30 on two bananas splits with mediocre ice cream, I expect gratitude rather than condescension. Our business will be taken elsewhere.
