I’ve been craving popcorn balls for months, and finally searched for some within the State and there are nothing available in Boone where I live, so I found Sugar Makery, and I’m so happy I did. I must say their popcorn balls exceeded my expectations, they were absolutely delicious, just perfect . I ate every one of them myself and didn’t even share with my kids, and I don’t regret it haha. I will definitely be ordering more and also I can’t wait to try their other store items. Definitely rate them 10 stars ou[ of 5, highly recommend!!

We had Sugar Makery cater popcorn for our wedding, and it was such a hit! Every flavor was absolutely delicious—we chose white cheddar, regular buttered, and zebra, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about them. The zebra flavor was hands-down the crowd favorite!
It was the perfect snack to have during the celebration, and it added a fun, tasty touch to our special day. Thank you again, Sugar Makery, for the amazing service and treats! We highly recommend them for any event—you won’t be disappointed!

This place is absolutely amazing. I’ve been to this location and their council bluffs store multiple times over the last few years and I still haven’t tried everything I want to. They have ice cream, popcorn, candy (obviously), baked goods, old school sodas, etc. If you could think of a treat they have it. Not only is their selection so broad the owners make all of their ice cream and baked goods at home and they are top notch (not even exaggerating). I am a Dairy Queen hater and a fool for good quality ice cream and this is one of only two places that I will get ice cream at. If you wanna fun little store to stop by with the family or just feel like a kid in a candy store again then you’ve found the right place!

Just posting after this happened maybe 3 years ago, we arrived about 30 mins before they opened on a Sunday since I neglected to do a simple search to see their hours. The manager saw us waiting and actually opened early to let us in which was absolutely amazing.

We stopped in on a whim to grab some ice cream and were delighted to find such a cozy little shop with lots of sweets to choose from. The scent of popcorn greeted us in the parking lot, and it only got better from there. We tried several of the available ice cream flavors and they were all terrific. We’ll definitely stop in again the next time we’re passing through to try out more of their chocolate and candy offerings. They also have a large eclectic collection of bottled sodas to try.
The employees were friendly and had good suggestions and thoughts on the various choices of ice creams.
There is a small seating area outside on the patio, but no indoor seating. This wasn’t a problem for us at all.

The pineapple shake is my absolute favorite!! Tons and tons of pineapple. The hand-made candy is good too!
Went today and had their version of a blizzard, again full of candy! They are really nice and I loved sampling the flavors of ice cream!

I could have bought every single Pez dispenser they had. Huge Fan of Pez & it’s candy’s. They should try and make a gummy version of Pez candy.
To top it all off they Even carry ice cream and even carry Sherbert for those that aren’t a huge Dairy fan. My favorite is the color spoons.
I recommend that they carry Honey sticks. What’s a candy store w/o honey sticks. All the same if you have an craving for something sweet, then come on down to Glenwood IA.
One more recommendation, they should try kettle corn. I bought a bag of one of my favorite flavors (salt and vinegar) and thought it best to try it kettle corn style.
And for those young and old give the Hopscotch a try right as you in.

This place was a great visit. The employees were very friendly and helpful. They have a great variety of candies, chocolates, popcorn and ice cream. They have a variety of popcorn flavors that are super good and you can try them. The ice cream is to die for, the peanut brittle is the best. The kids loved it and so did we. We will definitely be returning.
