Great spot to take kids for a birthday, and the milkshakes/ dry ice drinks etc are all super fun.
Service was pretty poor, the host seemed lost and there were tons of open seats, and the manager and other teammates kind of just stared from the back to see if he’d figure it out. A few people in line behind us left due to this.
Overall we enjoyed the experience due to the flashiness but the nuts and bolts of the operation could use some work.
For the price, I was expecting a lot more: a better-quality burger and real melted cheese, not something that felt more like plastic than food. The fries were fine and the place itself is cute, but the food doesn’t live up to the hype. Overall, it’s very Instagrammable, but if you care about flavor and value, it’s pretty disappointing.
Chicken sandwich was great. My son had the Big Cheesy, and it was one of the best burgers he has ever had.
It’s beautiful, fun and absolutely 100% fun! Honestly, not that expensive either!
There was almost no staff to be found the entire time we were there (with three other tables). My daughter’s food came out in about 15 minutes (seems like they could be quicker given they’re definitely not cooking from fresh). Mine took closer to 30 because a waffle maker was breaking and no one thought to tell me. I almost left money on the table and walked out.
The food was intensely average. My waffle tasted good but the chicken was so uniform it was clear it was fresh from frozen made in a factory somewhere. For $28 I expect more. They only had three kids meal options (burger sliders, chicken tenders or grilled cheese). Online the MOA location advertises “happy boxes” which had way more variety. Yeah no, not here. Also I had to ask for a kids menu when I clearly walked in with a child. We also tried the Unicorn Hot Chocolate which had some kind of pink and blue drizzle that tasted like liquid penicillin and my daughter didn’t like it. Neither did I.
The vibes in the video are under the impression they are being played in a much cooler space than they are. The seats all show wear, the menus are GHETTO, the food is wayyyy over priced, and the blasting music makes me think there should be more fun happening.
Service was terrible. We were seated quickly but we’re given menus without any interaction with the server. He then walked away and disappeared for so long that we considered leaving.
This was consistent with the rest of the staff’s attitudes. (It was only us and one other table at the time we ordered.)
The food was very expensive but was nothing better than what you may get from Chili’s or Applebee’s. I will say the portions were big.
Even after ordering one of the dry-ice drinks, the presentation was boring.
The restaurant decor was nice but seemed very dated and used. The mirrors were discolored and it just didn’t seem like there was any upkeep.
The drinks were good and interesting.
My suggestion is eat food somewhere else and stop in here for a sweet treat/drink.
(One last thing. My daughter collects rubber duckies so she ordered the rainbow burgers thinking she would get one. They were sold out but didn’t tell us until we asked when her food came. You may want to ask if they have them if ordering for that reason.)
I am updating the review with great marks. Solid 5/5. The management paid close attention to my experience and offered a reservation within the week. During our second visit, our server Alyssa took showed great care, attitude and suggestions to our experience. It was day and night from our last visit, we actually got a water pitcher on our table, drinks on the table in minutes and food within 10 to 15 minutes. We were finished within the hour of arriving vs the two an half hours we waited the first time. This establishment clearly cares for their customers experience and made things right. Looking forward to coming back in the future. I would recommend the steak melt and their house sauce for fries.
