Wow!!! This was our first visit but most definitely won’t be our last!!!!! I had looked at the menu for lunch and knew what I was going to get. Game changer!! I looked at the menu for breakfast once our sweet waitress, Danielle, told us that they were still serving breakfast, too. They have streak-o-lean!!! I changed what I got and ordered a bowl of oatmeal and a side of streak-o-lean. OMG!!! So, so good!!! The oatmeal was hot, thick, and so creamy and delicious!! The streak-o-lean was cooked perfectly!! Hubby got the country fried steak, mashed potatoes and green beans, and a biscuit. He also ordered a sausage biscuit extra. He loved it! We spoke with several of the staff, and they were all as wonderful as Danielle was! Great people! Great food! We can’t wait until we can go again!! Great little find!!
I also got a slice of their peanut butter bar to take home. I’m not a fan of peanut butter but love the old school bars. This tastes exactly like the ones I used to eat at school!!! It is so good!!

Quintessential country cooking restaurant! We found this one morning when looking for a breakfast restaurant nearby and it did not disappoint. I had the corned beef hash with grits, two over easy eggs, a biscuit and a side of gravy. My wife had a sausage biscuit and a side of home fries. The coffee was good and the service was excellent. We will definitely be back because this place was very comfortable and the quality of the food was excellent. Highly recommend!

First time visitors. the Pancakes, country fried steak, and biscuit and gravy was my favorite. The pancake plates can definitely be shared. Tea was nice and southern sweet. bacon is thick. grits did need a bit of doctoring (salt butter and pepper) made mine taste better, but they were cooked perfectly.

Sugar Biscuits absolutely never disappoints. My wife and I love to go here for lunch once every week or two, and the food and service are fantastic. It’s the perfect southern, home-cooked breakfast/lunch spot. The staff are so kind and friendly, and they treat every customer like family. Just be careful when you decide to go, because they can get BUSY (which is a good thing, because it shows just how much everyone loves it!)

If you like an old diner feel with a new very clean location, this is worth the little extra drive. Friendly young waitresses very basic menu. If you do not see what you want they work hard to give you what you want. Prices are reasonable. It is so good this is where the local Police eat. Go there and enjoy a cup of coffee and an omelette. They have daily specials that change all the time.

This restaurant is hands down one of the best. Everyone is so friendly. The food is really good and you actually get enough to fill you up. Be sure and plan to come visit. Be ready for a wait sometime but so worth it.

This was our first time eating here. The restaurant is located in downtown Dallas. We went for lunch. We both ordered the meat (hamburger steak) and 3 vegetables plate. My sides were corn nuggets, coleslaw, and the soup of the day a vegetable. We also ordered a piece of red velvet cake for dessert. The service is great. The food was great. It is a small Mom & Pop restaurant. These types of restaurants really know how to take care of their customers. We definitely will be going back, that’s for sure.
