Beautiful space for a special dinner date or celebration! Main dishes standout for their amazing meat quality and cooking techniques. I would prioritize ordering tacos or main dishes over entrees. Drinks were great too!

Great food and different flavors! Tried this place for a work event so we got to sample a lot of menu items. Everything was very delicious and savory flavors. The beef suarde tacos were the best, and the lentil dipping sauce was amazing. Tres leches dessert was divine. Would recommend for a dinner with friends or family. It was very crowded so probably not great for a quiet dinner but the atmosphere is lively.

Was so glad I was able to snag a spot at this restaurant. We had seen it on Somebody Feeds Phil and it did not miss the mark. Paired up with the best service, our waitress Maggie was superb and made our night so so great.

Look I’m not one to say I can’t afford fine dinning, but are you kidding me!? $23.00 for your suadero tacos?! right before COVID-19 and the Netflix special “Taco Chronicle’s” the prices were at a reasonable $13. I don’t know if the fame or the popularity of that show got your ego and head so big, but why would you increase the price so high? This place and the service is great, love the hipster vibes they’re still going with even though hipsters don’t really exist as much as they used to but, Suerte, please lower your taco price, I will return to enjoy your food but can’t without it hurting my wallet.

Loved our experience at Suerte. Our server San Juan (sorry if I’m misspelling it) was amazing. Possibly the best service we’ve ever had. He was super knowledgeable about all of the food.. he even knew a great deal about other restaurants in Austin. All of the food was delicious but the Carnitas and the Suadero tacos were amazing! The carnitas had the perfect amount of crispy-ness to them. I can’t wait to go back. So often, we try a new hot spot downtown and spend a ton of money and leave happy but feel like we over paid for just decent food. That was not the case here. Everything was delicious, priced well, and I can’t wait to go back.

The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing but we tried it for the first time and weren’t too impressed with the food. We ordered two appetizers as well their famous Wagyu tacos alongside the birria quesadilla. The mushroom appetizer and the Wagyu tacos were so salty I couldn’t even finish them. The quesadilla and the lentil dip were good though. They saved the day. The server gave me a free dessert since I ended up liking the quesadilla better than the tacos. There’s better food at better prices out there quite honestly. The meals don’t come with anything such as rice or beans etc either. I totally understand though. They want to focus on what they choose to focus on. This isn’t a complete diss. I’m sure there are other items that are amazing. The flavors and technicality of how they executed the dishes were perfect. The textures etc everything. They just oversalted the tacos. As for the mushroom appetizers, the entire appetizer already has a strong and pungent flavor. There was no balance to counter that acidity and it was topped with pickled onions. I would have lightly caramelized thinly sliced jalapenos to bring a nutty, sweet and lightly spicy element to the dish.

Great portion sizes that you can share with the table. Wagyu tacos are amazing if you like spicy. Grilled adobo chicken is also a great option on the menu.

Solid coastal and modern Mexican cuisine. Really good seafood options and all the cocktails are on point. Just which there were more chicken and beef options. The interior is quite spacious and airy so perfect for summer dining. Their basque cheesecake is one of the best I’ve had so highly recommend. Only small complaint I have is the prices are overarching for a lot of the dishes.
