The most spectacular farm to table experience we have EVER had. We loved that the bar is built around a 200 year old tree. Every aspect of the service reflects the traditions and talents of the local culture-beautiful bronze plates (I’d love a set) trees scattered throughout the setting. We had 3 waiters who were so gracious. Their love for the food, culture and the establishment was evident. I highly recommend this restaurant!

We ate at all the must try’s in San Jose Del Cabo and the east cape. For us Suelo/Limo was by far the winner. Whomever designed this place has an unparalleled eye for both cool and comfortable. The place is stunning and if I wasn’t married already I’d get married here.

The kitchen produced our best meal from our time in the area and the cocktails matched the level of the culinary wizardry and ambiance.

Make sure you walk the full property and get a good look at the kitchen and the wood fired cooking approach the whole program is impressive.

10/10

Suelo is beautiful and the ambience is excellent. The service was great as well and we had a good experience with the staff. However, the food was a miss. They said it is family style so we ordered 5 plates to share between 4 people (knowing some would be smaller). We were surprised to see that almost all of them were extremely small, like one bite per person. For example, we ordered the beets and there was genuinely less than one beet on the whole plate. We each had about 1/8 – 1/4 of a beet and it was 350 pesos (close to $20 USD). The term “family style” doesn’t make sense when you order plates to share and each get one small bite. After seeing the prices, we decided to go elsewhere for more food and all had a full meal after leaving Suelo because we were so hungry. I understand it is an upscale place but it felt extremely overpriced for what we got.

Unfortunately the worst part was that we were attacked by bugs the moment we sat down. We all felt sharp little pains on our legs (we think it was no-see-ums) and they did bring us bug spray upon request. But 6 days later my legs are absolutely covered in bites. Clearly it’s a known issue since they had the bug spray on hand but it was a horrible experience.

This place has a lot of potential but they need to get the bug issue under control and provide food and plates that match the high price.

Our dinner at Limo was amazing! From Wendy, the hostess, to Omar the manager, everyone made sure our experience was perfect. Gonzalo was truly a mixologist, and Roman, our waiter, was very attentive and had excellent recommendations for food and wine. Our overall experience was a 10 out of 10!

My wife and I had our rehersal dinner for 20 friends and family at LIMO and had an amazing experience.

The atmoshpere, service, and food were incredible, and LIMO’s staff were true pros that walked us through the entire planning process.

If you’re looking to celebrate a special occasion in San Jose, I can’t recommend LIMO highly enough!

Great place for family and friends! A mix between chill and fancy baja vibes. So well thought and food is great. I recommend the Barton cocktail, try the variety of chorizo and coliflor. As locals we truly appreciate this concept which includes area for kids and pets, bar area and exited to try their fine dinning at LIMO restaurant. Kudos to owners and staff for such a well thought place and hospitality.

We went here for the first time with friends and family last weekend and were seated quickly with no reservation. It’s a really cool space, there is an also bar that opens later in the night, and the restaurant has picnic tables you can fit a big group. We ordered almost everything off the menu to share, their bbq is incredible, definitely order the brisket. I’d highly recommend you check out this spot!

Amazing dinner at a fantastic new restaurant- Suelo Sur/ LIMO Heritage Kitchen

Starting with the delightfully refreshing welcome drink at the Bar Buho, built around a beautiful guamuchil tree, we were able to relax and enjoy the inviting atmosphere, which became even more magical as the sun set and the moon ascended.
The menu was arranged by ‘methods’ of cooking and included a variety of salads (the beet and radish salad was my favorite- still can’t identify the wonderful vinaigrette), side dishes, and mains. The complimentary fresh bread, served with an onion and potato puree that was addicting, was so delicious that we had to order more! We shared plates and sampled perfectly seasoned pork, green beans and bok choy salad, a salted fish entree that was carved out tableside, and finished up with a decadent chocolate lava cake. The expert sommelier (level 3) made some excellent suggestions to complement our dinner and the service overall was solicitous, but not over bearing. The owners stopped by and told us about the fascinating history of creating Suela Sur.
