All rolls had too much rice. The combination of flavors didn’t seem to go well together on some of the rolls we got. Like the one with cumin was weird.

The food at Suehiro is great. That has not changed since they were originally located in Old Town Fort Collins. I think that they must be short staffed right now and training new folks. With more staff on hand, this should continue to be a nice place to eat and hope that it stays in business.
Service was slow on the day my mom and me were there and the woman who was our waitress did an acceptable job. She apologized for it being her first day and was good about doing what was needed. Clearly there was a lot to do between the many tables.
We were first sat at a dark table with almost no light with a view of the back of a restaurant cart of soy sauce and cleaning supplies and the back of another couple’s back. After asking to be moved to another table with more room and sunlight things went better and we could enjoy ourselves more.
I think that the music choices could have been better though. Pop and hip hop in a fancy Japanese restaurant did not really fit the mood.

We waited about 15-20 minutes after being seated and no one came or said anything to us. I’ve been coming to this place for over 30 years. The service has been bad the last few times we’ve been here. We walked out nobody said anything to us. I don’t think I will ever be back. Two of the waitresses working walk right by us it did not say a word. One of the waitresses as we walked out was chatting with one of her co-workers. This was on March 4th between 7:00 and 7:30.

Overall pleasant experience. Food was decent if pedestrian. Portions of lunch specials were generous. Udon was nicely cooked, with a nice chew. Sushi rolls were more pedestrian. Spider roll didn’t have much soft shell crab in it.

The food was great as usual. There was a charge on my bill that I inquired about because I ordered the dynamite lunch with a northern light roll for the up charge they do. They decided to charge me twice for the roll and the manager, Donavan, got very upset when I inquired and wanted to tell me what I ordered, although he wasn’t my server. Very unfortunate because my son loves sushi and this has been our go to. But the manager acting that way left a bad taste in my mouth.

My friend and I used to dinechere often. But after eating this lunch, we had serious reactions. She, who is already food sensitive had the most violent gut response. I who inflammation issues and joint replacements could not walk due to swelling and pain for a day. This happened to both of us within the next day. We will not go back.

Did a carry out sushi and sashimi order.
The server on the phone was very polite, helpful and friendly.
I was able to schedule my order to be fresh and ready for the time I needed.
Everything was newly made, beautifully boxed, and completely accurate.
The atmosphere is clean, inviting, and the servers and chefs made the pick up easy and fast.
Food was excellent.

Eating raw fish isn’t for everyone, but if it is for you, then Suehiro is the place to be. I’ve never been disappointed in my numerous visits to Suehiro. They are also able to happily and safely handle severe food allergies by making custom creations with their Chef’s Creation special. I recommend the Jeff Roll and the Dynamite Bowl. My daughter is a huge fan of the cucumber salad and miso soup. Enjoy!

This was our time at Suehiro. The restaurant is nice, and hostess was very kind.
We were seated and our waiter came up to us to get our order for drinks. He very much seemed as if he had no interest in being there. After our drinks came, he brought out diced cucumbers and a bowl of soup for each of us. He sat them down and walked away. As I said, this was our first time in a sushi restaurant. We had no idea what this was or what to do with it. It was only by asking a family member that we figured it out.
We ordered appetizers and asked for forks. I’m not even going to pretend like we’re coordinated enough for chop sticks. Our waiter said “no problem” but never brought them. I had to go ask the hostess.
We ordered our food and it was good. I usually don’t care for sushi but I did enjoy the roll that I chose.
During our meal, our waiter stopped by once. We had to ask for refills for drinks, even as he was standing at the table.
While food was ok, I don’t believe we will be back. Our experience with our waiter definitely affected our perception of the restaurant and the food wasn’t good enough to warrant a return trip.

Food was ok, the dynamite bowl was great but the sushi was a little bland. Ordered the 3 rolls off the lunch menu and they came as hand rolls not regular.
