exquisite dinning experience. we ordered the curry stir fry with beef and tofu and it was to die for. the spices went so well with the veggies and the tofu was so soft it was melting in your mouth.

the staff was very friendly and the place is very cute.

We were recommended this place by another Thai restaurant that was closing, but unfortunately it was a big disappointment.
The Massaman Beef Curry had more potato than beef, and the small amount of beef in it was mostly fatty. The spring rolls were congealed inside, basically deep-fried rice paper with a dipping sauce to disguise them.
I should have read the reviews beforehand, they’re spot on.
This place doesn’t resemble a restaurant in quality or experience. 1/5.

Success Thai food was the first restaurant I tried on my trip to Byron and it did not disappoint.
After a recommendation from a friend I tried the pork pad Thai and I highly recommend it!
The staff was very nice and the service was so quick!

I’ll rate them from 1-5 strawberries where 1 is the lowest and 5 is the best:
Service: 5/5
Product: 4/5
Price: 3/5 22.5$
Wait: 5/5
Overall awesomeness: 4/5

Appalling.
Waited 30 minutes for the food and when it finally arrived I was surprised to find a lump of mystery meat (in my vegetarian tofu chilli basil rice) which my boyfriend identified as chicken. I had a very quiet word with the waitress and she took it back and asked if I wanted another one or a refund- not an apology just a swift exchange back to the kitchen. Once a “fresh” one arrived, it had clearly been reheated as it still tasted like poultry juice and had my half eaten egg presented slopped on the side for decoration. I preceded to eat the reheated meal to a point where I began to immediately feel ill as once I got nearer to the bottom I could see fragments of said chicken. I asked a different waiter who was very helpful and solemnly advised that this unfortunately isn’t the first time meat has been located within a vegetarian meal at this establishment and apologised. He kindly had a word with the chef and came back with the shocking news that the chef insisted that if I hadn’t given them the benefit of the doubt and have it remade I would’ve been entitled to a full refund, my boyfriend then spoke to the chef and the chefs exact words were “I know the situation and we’re really busy” and then turned his back and walked away. I’ve never dealt with this level of unprofessionalism in my entire life and it’s a disgrace to know that I will be left severely unwell from this meal with no regard for my health and no rectification whatsoever. I never leave negative reviews but this one needs to be submitted for the sake of other people’s health and if they don’t want to unintentionally sabotage 9 years of vegetarianism. They do not value dietary requirements and have no regard for one’s health; I’d hate to fathom if this happened to someone with a severe allergy which could’ve been fatal. Appalled.

I used to drive trucks all up & down the east coast so I’ve sampled many different Thai restaurants, I ordered my favourite Beef Massaman curry with coconut rice. The rice was fine but the way over averaged priced beef massaman was by far the worst I’ve had, almost no Beef in it & what Beef was in it was like a leather boot. You give Byron Bay a bad name. Will never buy from there again

We ordered the duck green curry, sweet sour chicken, and a large side of rice for about $50. The green curry was more like a soup – watery and lacking flavor. And in both dishes, there was hardly any meat in either dish. The service was okay and the food just didn’t impress.

Well bellow average green curry chicken, it had a weird flavour to it and it was quite greasy. Very overpriced and they completely under delivered. Then it kept repeating on me. A memory of like to forget.

Spent over $100 in food and the quantity & quality of the food was minimal in dishes. They were 3/4 full and hardly any meat. After bringing to the manager’s attention he quickly dismissed our complaint and didn’t seem to concerned & was eager to dismiss us. The food was tasteless and stingy on the volume.
Definitely will not be going back there!

We even have photos to prove it!

The restaurant has potential, but there some obvious drawbacks preventing it from even being mostly recommended.

While I found the food to be made of quality ingredients, presented well, it was very mild/boring in its flavour.

For example, the sweet/sour stir fry seemed to cancel itself out, and while the texture and presentation was fine, the flavour interest was missing.

The rice was not warmed through, but it was gluggy too. This means it’s been standing for too long.

Service, I must say, is fairly awful, with obviously uninterested working visa staff who see you as pure hassle, not as a valid customer. I’ve never been brought a single dish by a waitress and asked, “Which is which?”. (The question didn’t even make sense).

Somewhere underneath these issues there is a worthy restaurant, but just be prepared to be handle all this baggage if you visit this restaurant.
