As I walked in I was completely ignored all 3 employees kept their back to me, to get someone to look at me I said “hi welcome to subway! How can I help you!?” Which must have went over wrong as that was met with a scowl from the two males one of which was in charge apparently as he was not wearing a name tag while the other two wore trainee tags just walked away to the back. I didn’t get the bread I asked for and the vegetables are frosting over as the serving case is obviously turned up to high to freezing. Feels lonely in here as the other patrons opted out of sitting down in the unwiped eating area.

Well currently sitting in the parking lot of this subway and their doors are locked it’s 20 min past time to open .. I have seen 6 customers walk up to the door and get frustrated cause it says they are open but all doors are locked.

This Subway is horrible. On the Palmer- Wasilla Hwy. Never go there. The last time I went there they were out of tea in the lobby. But I saw they had tea where you drive through. I asked politely if they could fill my tea with the drive-thru carry out. The manager threw a temper tantrum and was very rude. I will never go there again. Worst subway in Alaska. U can tell when you drive up and watch them through the window as you are getting great service and great food at Burger Jim’s next door. So bored because they get no business. Food is stale.

How this place has return business is remarkable. The attitude that a certain few of the employees have is deplorable. I’m not hard to please, as long as the staff is friendly, but there are a few of the ladies who work here that act as though they hate their job and take it out on the customers. I shouldn’t have to feel like I need to apologize for ordering my food. They’re getting paid to be here and aren’t making my sandwich as a personal favor. The food is good, just as most subways, but the customer service is incredibly poor. I keep coming back, hoping there will be new employees with a better disposition, but every time return, there are new employees but with the same attitude issues. I’m starting to think it’s a management problem in hiring the wrong people or perhaps treating them so poorly that they feel the need to treat customers exceptionally poorly.

i used to work here. it was terrible. for staters, they would take our tips when the tills were short (which is illegal). overall horrible management, horrible training, and horrible pay. they never even gave me a pay raise when they said they would. oh yea and when i first started, they were having us use expired turkey – for a few weeks – instead of taking it off the line. DONT GO THERE!!

I drove up to the drive through…. no signs posted and no one was talking. Decided to go inside to see what was going on… to discover a lot of gossip coming from the back and only one person manning the register. Meredith was awesome. She took care of my order and I was out. However, Im weary of what the business owner pays for three girls in the back giggling and gossiping while one person takes care of business.

I asked for lightly toasted and I received burned bread. Than when I asked for different bread the lady said she will only replace the bread and sloppily threw the makings in the new bread and said next time ask for just your meat warmed up. Needless to say I wasn’t angry until she said that.

Management appears to be horrible because every employee I have come across to prepare my food is horribly under trained. They don’t know basic questions and don’t even look for the answer. The only reason I even eat here is because of the drive thru convenience. Which is kind of hard to call a convenience, especially when the drive thru has gaping pot holes you have to dodge. Anyways, maybe one day corporate will see this review and fix this place.
