Ordered online and picked up. Should have stayed there to eat as they forgot our olives in both my order and my daughter’s.
Update: After reading the reviews, I have decided that what happened to us is very common at this location. And even though I said that they forgot to put the olives on both our sandwiches (different sandwiches) The owner responds to the 4 stars and not to the problem. Get better help!

I just wanted to comment on my visit to Subway on Liberty in Salem. My grandson and I went there on Sunday. The lady working was awesome. She was kind and patient as we ordered. There appeared to be a new person working and she was also kind and patient as she help her learn her job. The food was excellent and the place was so clean. We had a wonderful lunch for my grandson birthday. Just wanted to thank her for her kindness and I’m waiting to see who I will pay it forward to. Thank you!

Everytime I go n there it’s always the same girl working. I wish I would’ve got her name, bcuz she is probably the worst sandwich maker I have ever seen. For numerous reasons. I worked at subway yrs ago for 5 yrs. She never seems like she wants to be there, she doesn’t take her time/always n a hurry it seems like. Most recent visit I had asked for honey mustard and she didn’t have any up front when I asked for h.m I said just 2 stripes 1 on each side. When she came back she put SOOOOO much on there, like how’d she forget from there to grab it and back again??? I even said whoa, that’s way too much!! And she just looked at me with the look of…yeah AND?? At 10$ for a flipn tuna that’s out of control for sure, as well as the unhappy sandwich artist u have there. This is the 3rd time for being treated so rude, that this time I decided to leave this review with proof.
I ordered online 3 footlongs along with chips and cookies and 1 of the sandwiches was an Italian BMT and instead of putting the correct meats in it, they put meatballs instead and the rest of the ingredients were correct.
My husband didn’t even realize their mistake until after he took the first bite.
I was in a time crunch, so I quickly called subway to let them know their mistake. I told her I had an appt with the Vet at 4:30 for my deceased kitten to be cremated and she laughed and said ” well, life happens.” I couldn’t believe her response, I was appalled and insulted!! Then she continued to say ” I can give you your free sandwich after you bring us your uneaten sandwich to prove to us that we made it wrong.”
I told her that it’s not a free sandwich, I already paid for it online and I can’t bring the sandwich in right away.
She continued to make me feel like I’m trying to get a free sandwich, she didn’t even apologize for their mistake.
I’m not a thief! I don’t go out of my way to scam restaurants!
I will never come back to this restaurant, I can’t and won’t recommend this place to anyone else.

I would give zero if possible. I’ve lived here longer than this place existed, and I’ve given it way more chances and I’d like to admit… If you don’t mind spending an hour waiting for your food or to get service then go for it -otherwise…HORRIBLE

Other places were busy/closed so I decided to pick up some Subway tonight…So yummy! I got “The Boss” footlong as a meal. The lady working there tonight was great service: Kind, respectful, attentive. Don’t listen to the bad reviews and give this one a chance! It really sucks that people can’t give these guys some slack…Respect your fellow food service workers; they are hard working & deal with a lot on a daily basis. They’re human and can make mistakes, and misunderstandings are a real thing! Very glad I ordered Subway tonight. Thank you!

Would not accept a $50 bill. Wrap was small. Used the chicken mystery patty in the rotisserie ceasar wrap. It was not too busy so that was nice but maybe the food quality and service are why.

Woman has no business servicing people. Rude, didn’t acknowledge us. Sandwich looked tossed together. I asked for extra lettuce. I got 3 PIECES lettuce total. I asked for extra tomatoes and had 2 slices 3 pickles. 2 onion slices. Well my son just opened his foot long. It’s worse than the 6 inch. I get inflation but this is ridiculous. Do better. I usually go to the one off Fairview but they had already closed. They are amazing and we have never gotten a bad sandwich there. Maybe take notes.

Got a turkey cheese lettuce and pickles no sauces. Got ten pieces of lettuce next to no turkey the bread looked like it was stepped on.
