A solid, well-stocked location in Kapa’a. We stopped by and found that they had almost everything on the menu available, which was great.
Service: The staff was patient and didn’t rush us through the assembly process, allowing us to get exactly what we wanted.
The Food: While the ingredients were fresh, the sub could have been packed a bit more securely—it was a little messy to eat on the go.
Parking: The lot is shared with several other popular shops, so it can be quite a challenge to find a spot during rush hours. Give yourself a few extra minutes to circle for a space.
Since you’re already in the plaza, don’t miss Wailua Shave Ice right next door! It’s the perfect dessert to follow up your meal.

Don’t go here and expect to get anything any time close to closing. They close 30 minutes early. Walked up and knocked on the window and they just stand there and shake their head as I point to their hours on the door.

I ordered online and chose the “double meat” option which is an extra $3.95! i did NOT get any extra bacon, it was also missing tomatoes and had way too much mayonnaise. I also added a tip, but my friend picked it up for me and said they didn’t have my order, barely spoke english and were rude, i tried calling multiple times to address the situation and no one answered. Do not recommend this place.
I used to work at a Subway myself, its not that hard to put the right topping on a sandwich, especially when its printed out!

Amazing place and friendly/nice staff. I came in everyday during our stay at Kauai and got excellent service. The people behind the counter were clean, courteous and generous with portions. They even accommodate extra requests graciously!

Some of the ladies are nice, there is a couple of ladies that have a bad attitude when I go there. They also never have any cookies when I go, no matter what time of the day it is there’s never any cookies and they don’t make more. Who knows, maybe they just dont serve cookies??? But I love when I request that I want extra of a topping they put a lot. Yumm

I remember going there a couple of weeks ago. Food was great except for the mayo I asked for in which they only added like a quarter of what I wished for/what other subway restaurants added.
SOMETHING I HATED THE MOST ‼️⚠️ There was a lady who worked there who looked to be short and filipino and she was just taking my order, not making the sandwich. She had an attitude. What happened was that I couldn’t hear her the first time and I said “What?” and she responds in a louder, rude, sarcastic, tone. A kind where you get impatient so you respond in an aggressive, angry voice. Please improve her attitude. And the mayo. The lady doing my sandwich was pretty sloppy too.
I’m a Filipino who can speak and understand fluent Tagalog and understand quite a bit of Ilocano. Not sure if I heard it correctly but I think I heard the rude lady mutter something bad in Tagalog.

Bad experience. My daughter saw your ad about your melt and she has been begging me to take her to Subway for a week. Server was unfriendly and the melt my daughter was looking forward to wasn’t melted we discovered after we left.. The trip to Subway took 2 hours with rain and traffic, traffic we are still sitting in. and all I have to show for it is a disappointed child.

Food is good if you like Subway but if there’s a line and you’re hungry save some time and go elsewhere. The combination of people who are ordering multiple subs but doing it one at a time and the speed at which they are made will drive you mad. No line and you’re fine though so there is that.

Was going to order and the cashier did not wash her hands before touching the food. Touching gloves with filthy hands that have touched money was enough for me to walk out without food.
