I recently visited the Subway on Clay Street in Oakland, California, and I have to say it was a completely disappointing experience. I ordered two footlong sandwiches—one Chicken Bacon Ranch and one Roast Beef. Unfortunately, both were poorly made and lacked key ingredients. The Chicken Bacon Ranch had neither ranch nor cheese, which completely ruined the sandwich. The Roast Beef was even worse—there was no oil or vinegar, and instead, they added some sweet onion sauce, which I cannot stand. On top of that, both sandwiches were toasted, despite me only asking for one to be toasted. I’m extremely frustrated and will likely never eat at this Subway again.

Last night was our first visit to this Subway location. It was relatively quiet as it is located in the business district. We were helped by an older Asian man who might be the owner. He was friendly and did a great job of listening to us as we made our sandwich requests. The location was spotless which is not common for fast food chains. We would be more than happy to visit this location in the future.

I come here a lot. Sometimes there may be a hiccup with the gift card but people are friendly and the location is very close to home. Very easy to hop in my chair and pick up the order I placed on the app.

This is one of the good locations if you ever experienced one of the bad ones. I have before, but it was a while back. It’s kept clean, it’s in a plaza but for a plaza where most of the stores close early(plaza hours), it actually has good hours as well as the service. It’s one of the stores that actually stay open late or later you can say in comparison to the others that closes around the same time as most of the stores in that plaza, around 5 or 6. They stay open till at least 8 most days I believe. They make their sandwiches pretty good, especially the new ones. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed and they are not too busy, other then around lunch time. It’s a little different then because there is really only a few other places around it to get something to eat, and it’s one of the prime spots at lunch hour aka rush hour. So around that time it’s not necessarily suggested unless you don’t mind a wait. All in all it’s a good subway to go too.

This is good store in Oakland city center. It’s very close to BART station. Staff is good and they love to know feedback if you have any. Since store was relatively less busy, staff asked me quality of sandwiches and if I like it or not. He explained nutrients available in meal, it was very informative.

I’ve order from this Subway 3 times now (delivery). The first time they didn’t have the footlong cookie. Then the next time I order online the Teriyaki CHICKEN SUB & they gave me the Cheese Steak Sub. So I ordered one more time & they canceled my order sending me a texts telling me to contact the store directly. So I call the store & no one is picking up the phone. This location sucks!!

Someone unknowingly placed 2 orders today, 7/22/2024 at 6:40 pm and 6:50pm that were UNAUTHORIZED. Stole $20+ from me. I don’t even live in CA, I am from NY. Called the store multiple times no answer and mailbox full. Will be reporting to proper authorities.
